Installed in our new barn run-in for horses. It works great with lots of light and turns on as the horses approach. Lots of light for the corral and sensor reacts at about 30 feet. I like that the 2 smaller side units rotate for directional coverage where needed. Easy to install - remove side nuts on bracket for light and the same way for panel and use power drill. Once screwed down, put back on brackets and tighten nuts with items positioned to your liking. Light lasts about 3 mins. UPDATE: still putting out big, bright light a year later. Buying another sice the two other brands quit 3 months ago. The solar panel survived ice, snow and -40 last winter.

The sensitivity is very good. I had to adjust the sensor to 1/2 sensitivity which equates to about 60-75 feet. Full sensitivity was turning the light on at about 250 feet. The light is very bright on full power. It lights up an area in a semi-circle out to a radius of about 45 feet. The light appears to be constructed well, but it does have a soft "plastic" feel. I have not had it very long but the batteries are lasting all night with the settings at 1/2 sensitivity, full brightness, and 1/2 duration even with the partly cloudy weather in my area the last few days. Based on my current experience I do recommend this light. However, I can not comment on the light's durability due to the limited time I have had the light.

Received and installed the unit without much of an issue. However, the LUX adjustment does not function and because of this, the lights come on even in broad daylight, thereby prematurely draining the batteries. Tried to get help from tech support from the seller/manufacturer. No luck (there is NO technical contact info, address, phone number or anything associated with LOVIN Product - even on the included 'instruction' sheet). Tried to get help from Amazon - they provided me with contact info for a machine shop in North Carolina that has same name (Lovin Products) that not only didn't manufacture the light, but doesn't do business with Amazon at all. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT AND COMPANY. *** UPDATE*** After some additional conversations with the seller, a new unit was shipped and received yesterday. Out of the box, this unit is performing much better than the first - it will actually not illuminate when there is other ambient light (something the original would not do). This is how it is advertised to work - although, the instructions are actually the reverse of how the 'LUX' setting is described ('maximum' setting requires there to be MORE (MUCH more) ambient light than 'minimum' in order to have the unit stay off when there is ambient light available). Confusing? Yes, I know... I am raising my rating to 3 stars, due to the efforts put forth by Lovin to resolve this, and the fact this unit - at least for now - is functioning. ***UPDATE #2***. After having the replacement unit installed and in use for a couple months now, I am upgrading my rating to 5 stars. The instruction sheet errata aside, this new replacement unit is working flawlessly. It provides an abundance of usable light, and the controls are functioning as they should - in that the unit won’t come on whole it’s light, will stay on for the set duration and will trigger at the appropriate distance. This is all a complete 180 degree turn from the first unit. I will also admit Lovin’s customer service was very deliberate and determined to ensure I had a working unit. I recommend this light, but be sure to test it before installation and if it doens’t work, don’t hesitate to reach out to Lovin’ for assistance.

Basically the light is great. Specifics: 1. It's big; it's really wide. It takes up a lot of area and is not discrete. 2. The solar panel is solid - but small. It's 2.5 watts. The verdict is still out if it's big enough to keep the batteries charged. But this is by far the best solar panel supplied with a light kit that I have seen. Everything about the solar panel is A1! 3. Weather sealing is there, but it's not the forte of this light. I seam sealed everything (and I mean everything) with silicone. You need to do that. Ever see ants get inside a light? They are relentless. They'll get in. Mine is attached to a tree, and I put it inside an aluminum housing to keep the rain off of it. (And to hide it as well.) 4. The plastic of the housing is very light and thin. In fact, it glows when the light is on! Might be OK, but reeks of being cheaply made. 5. There are 5 AA batteries inside and that is a lot of capacity. 6. The light is bright enough, but it's a wide angle kind of light. It will illuminate well with 10 feet. After that the drop off makes it not so desirable. Not so much a bad thing, but just know it's not a spotlight and won't illuminate your yard. 7. Everything worked as described - no issues. 8. At MAX time on the control panel, the light is on for just about 3 minutes.

I purchased this led lights back in January 2019. finally had the chance to install it on my garage over looking the driveway. So unhappy with this product. After reading the instruction on how to install the lights my boyfriend adjust one of the led lights and the left panel completely broke off. Because I am already passed my return policy I had to do what was necessary to fix the broken panel. We glued it with all kinds of glue to get it to stay. Finally 2 days later we were able to install the lights. I am greatly disappointed with this lights. It does not shine bright like what I’m expecting. The lights shines really dim almost like a night light. Hardly any lights on my driveway or on my daughter’s car. Despite the broken panel I was going to be okay with it as long that it shines brightly. Yes it works but horribly dim. If it breaks this easily how is it going to hold up in changing weather conditions? I live Along the coast in Southern California where it’s salty and sometime misty at night. there is always full shine light and It’s been almost 2 weeks and the lights remain the same. It doesn’t shine on anything. It just glows. Maybe I received a defective lights or someone else’s return product?? It’s Horrible. I will never recommend this product.

Now finally an impressive light that throws a decent amount of light. I am installing this on our 35 ft deck and it lights it up completely and we can also sit out there without additional lighting and enjoy the hot tub and really lights up the entire area. Buying #2 and possibly #3. Great product, sturdy, well made, great light throw, easy to install many neat features. Worth every penny.

Pros: easy to install and place the solar panel so it can catch a lot of sunlight while having the light itself in a shaded area. Cons: not very bright and can't get it to stay on very long despite adjusting to stay on the longest time. Motion detection doesn't seem ideal though it's not terrible

We have a long backyard and running behind our yard is a 5K trail. We love using the trail but a lot of times it is dark when we get back and now that the days are getting shorter we may not even get started on our walk until almost dark. We placed this halfway back our yard and attached it to an existing pole used for our Martin house. It's not made to attach to a pole but my husband got it attached with some U-bolts. Now we can see our way home! We will see if it bothers the martins - hoping it won't Love that there a 3 separate light panels to angle different directions. You can adjust the motion sensitivity, the sensitivity for how dark it needs to be in order for the lights to come on, and how long the lights stay on once motion has stopped. And the best part is the solar panel - we did not need to run electricity!!

This was exactly what we needed. There is no elecricity in our barn/garage yet. We looked at various solar lights, but the front of the garage does not face the sun. It activates when a car pulls in, or our dog goes out. It is not overly sensitive- does not activate with wind. Love it. Would get it again.

Very bright, and we like that you can set it for the time it stays on.

very fragile broke on installation ,when I was directing the lights the plastic cracked and one light came loose I kept it because it works fine ,just cheep plastic ,hoping it will last through winter
