I have never slept on, or even tested any type of memory foam anything before! So I may be a bit biased, but I am totally satisfied with this purchase. The mattress was shipped to us a whole 4 days early (UPS Air), so thank you Amazon, PrimaSleep, and UPS for making this happen! So, I'm going to list all of the things I love about this mattress:1. It is very soft/cushiony yet wonderfully firm/supportive! It's not too firm or too soft. As another reviewer previously mentioned, it is difficult to explain the balance, you'd only understand fully if you felt it for yourself. It really does relieve pressure in your body. It conforms to your body impressively - this prevents limbs from falling asleep, and keeps you from waking up feeling sore/stiff. My husband and I both have back problems, and this has helped us so much already!2. The mattress shipped quickly, was fairly easy to unpack (though the box was very heavy and UPS had to help us carry it to our door, we had to use a dolly the rest of the way).3. It is recommended that you wait 48-72 hours before sleeping on your mattress to allow it to rise/ventilate. In most cases this is true. In ours, not so much. Our mattress rose to 7 inches within just an hour! It then rose to 8 inches in only 2 hours! The corners took a little longer to rise, but that doesn't affect our sleep at all! I have read that in humid climates memory foam can rise more quickly. Well we live in a sub-tropical climate, and ours decompressed rapidly! It reached 6 inches more minutes after removing it from the box.4. When we first pulled it out of the box, I was expecting to be hit in the face by the smell everyone always talks about (which I know is from off-gassing). I smelled nothing. I put my face into the mattress and sniffed aggressively, I smelled nothing and neither did my husband. After we dressed the bed and climbed in it, I smelled the faintest hint of something, but it quickly dissipated. So if you're worried about smell, I didn't have a problem with that and it shouldn't be a huge problem for anyone who orders this mattress.5. The price. This price is so amazingly low/affordable, I am so grateful to be able to sleep in such a comfortable bed, a memory foam bed, for the first time in my life. Growing up I slept on a twin bed with two box springs (from 4 years old to 18), and in the last few years I have only slept on old springy mattresses. They really made this affordable and I'm so happy because everyone deserves to sleep comfortably and to rest well! If I ever get rich I will buy this product for anyone who needs one!Bottom line: this mattress IS exceptionally comfortable! In the couple of nights I have slept on it, I have not noticed any sinking (the mattress is on top of a box spring), no weird or unpleasant smells, or anything I don't like about it. You get amazing quality for a low price. Anyone who has slept in uncomfortable beds frequently will appreciate this mattress. If you are used to really expensive memory foam mattresses, you might not be happy with this one. Then again, I'd be willing to wager that this PrimaSleep mattress is comparable in quality to the more expensive brands. I definitely recommend this mattress to anyone who needs a comfortable mattress, but doesn't want it to cost them an arm and a leg! When I am enjoying the comfort and stability of this mattress, I also exhale deeply and feel great about how much money I saved by purchasing a PrimaSleep mattress!If you aren't used to sleeping on a bed like this, give yourself time to adjust, it can take a while! Also, take the mattress out of the box as soon as you get it (or ASAP) because the longer it stays inside the box, the higher risk it may not decompress properly! The mattress will have an easier time rising if it is placed on a flat surface. As always, do plenty of research before making a significant purchase such a this! If you happen to read my review, I stand by the quality of this product, this is the mattress I will be sleeping on for years, and I will continue to buy from PrimaSleep in the future. Got this for my bed frame in my spare room for guests, very comfortable and easy set up.

While this mattress didn’t expand to the six inches (maybe 4.5), it is still super comfortable. I bought for my son to give him a big boy room for his 5th birthday, and this definitely works for him. I find it very comfortable as well, but I did take off a star for the size not being what was advertised.

I have searched for weeks for a good mattress with good quality and low price as I needed a queen size mattress ASAP and for it to last at least 3/4 months before I move as I wouldn’t be taking the mattress with me!After lengthy search I came across this one and even though some of the reviews were not encouraging, I decided to give it a go and if I didn’t like it or couldn’t be a match I was going to stick it out for the next 3/4 months and that would be that!The one I originally had was 12in in height but in a very bad shape. I decided to give the 8in a go and test out how it would work!I can say it definitely took up 48hours and a little more to get to the 8in size so be patient for it to get to the size it needs.I’ve had it for a month now and I can’t find any complaints about it!It’s good and firm and very comfortable!Also I inspected the box and the plastic wrap it came in and it was clear of any mold or bugs.Shipping was super fast!Although it is not recommended to sit on the very edge of the mattress because after all its foam and it will squish/crush but that’s because it’s the very edge. To me that’s not an issue and who sits on the very edge anyways?

We purchased the 10” for our guest room and all our guests loved it, so we ended up purchasing 2 of the 8” mattresses for our boys’ room. It’s incredibly comfortable and a perfect balance of firm support but still somewhat soft & conforms to your body. Our boys love it! My only disappointment is that the edges of the 8” mattress didn’t fully rise on one of them. We sat it out for a week before putting our sheets on and the corners still haven’t fully risen. So there is a slope at the edge of each corner. Just adding extra pillows to make up for it. Overall, would still recommend.

The mattress is very comfortable, not too soft or firm. It was easy to take out the box and wrapping. Yet, the mattress did not inflate in 72 hours. It’s not even half way I would say. I tried keeping it in a warm, ventilated room but the corners are still flat as it was when I received it. I will let it sit for 1-2 weeks and update my review to see if it will inflate to the size they claimed it would.Update: found out the mattress has fiber glass and I had taken off the cover to wash it. Now I’m afraid there might be fiberglass all over. So far we’re fine but I wish this was mentioned in the description. I called customer service and they gave me a refund and let me keep it. That was very nice of them. Like I said in the beginning the mattress is actually comfortable just wish there was a warning of fiberglass. I let the mattress sit for a bit more and it’s slowly inflating to a better shape. If you don’t take off the cover you don’t have to worry about fiberglass and wait around 1-2 weeks it will definitely inflate to size.
