Machine works ok, but software is not the same as handbook. I got in touch with supplier WSS-STORE who said it wasn't their problem. Very poor service from them. I can only produce pictures about 25 mms square, the programme has no scaling bar to increase size as shown in handbook. Need to contact manufacture to see if they can help or get other software that works correctly. 😟

Easy to install the software and it comes with a lot of stock images, all of which you're unlikely to use. The software is very basic from an image editing point of view so you're better using an alternative such as Photoshop.The laser engraving machine isn't very big, as you will know if you have checked the specs. My main issue is getting the image to the maximum size of 80mm x 80mm. Best advice is to crop each image to just outside the edges, that seems to work best.I have used it several times and the outcome is quite good, but I often find that there are a few blank spots, places where engraving hasn't happened but should have. This isn't a major issue if you're making gifts for friends. But if you're hoping to sell whatever you make then you might want to spend a lot more money. I have engraved soft wood, hard wood and a soft plastic phone cover with pretty good results. You can adjust the settings for depth and power, which takes some experimentation, but the default settings seem to work well for most things.Don't expect this engraver to be fast, I would say the average time for each engraving is 45 minutes to 75 minutes, depending on depth and the amount of black in the image. It doesn't really like photos, but using sketch software it is possible to get a good likeness with some experimentation.The advert said that the laser is replaceable but I contacted the seller and was told that it wasn't at present, and the typical life of the laser head is 12 months. This may be correct, but checking online, similar lasers are available at a cost of around £100. So even if you can replace the laser it isn't very cost effective, so I won't be expecting this unit to last over a year.All in all, for the price it's pretty good. Just don't expect professional quality and expect to have to experiment.

This is my first time using an engraving machine,very surprise,this is perfect for me,it works very well.

I use it to carve wood.It is very efficient in engraving.

Brilliant little lazer for small jobs and can be placed on any size piece of material . and it has a manual focus witch comes in handy .
