How big are these? I ordered another type which were tiny (about the size of a thumb nail) and I’m looking for bigger ones for safety.

They are definitely bigger than a thumb nail, probably the size of a 50p piece, about an inch in diameter, I got these when my kittens were young and they love them, they still walk around with them in their mouths, I hope this helps.
