Not the Most Efficient Choice for a Power Station, but a Good Cooktop Overall
I bought this CUSIMAX cooktop mainly with portable power station use in mind, so energy consumption was especially important to me.I tested it with exactly 1 liter of water and a plug-in watt meter. With the cooktop set to 1000W, the water reached a strong rolling boil in about 14 minutes, using approximately 0.20 kWh of energy. That was more energy than I expected. Heating 1 liter of water from around room temperature to boiling theoretically requires about 0.087 kWh, so in my real-world test the overall efficiency was roughly 44%. Some of the energy naturally goes into heating the cookware, the glass surface, and the surrounding air, but for someone running from a battery, those losses matter.Because of that, I would not consider this the best option if your main goal is to maximize runtime from a power station. For simple tasks like boiling water, a more efficient appliance will use noticeably less battery. That said, I do not think this is a bad product at all.So my conclusion is fairly simple: good cooktop overall, but not especially energy efficient for battery powered use. If you are buying it specifically for a power station, keep the higher energy consumption in mind.

Easy to use
Have used many times and I like it. Has several temps from 600-1500 I believe and a timer. I have an RV and rather than deal with propane I always use this.

Works great with regular use.
This is used quite often in the break room at the office. It heats quickly, is easy to use and keep clean, and can be set in a cabinet when we need more counterspace. It is a good size for our needs, which is just an office of 8-10 people on an average day, so it is probably used at least 4-5 days a week.
