Really works, removed one star as the unit produces slight noise but good product nevertheless!

Had one of these before and had to replace after many years of use as one of the plug prongs broke off. Seems to work well to eradicate cooking smells in the lounge. Hence have purchased another one.

I’ve had this plugged in and running for 5 months. It has quite a bright green light which is very unnecessary and annoying. It WAS completely silent until this week. 5 months of run time and it has started making a low pitched buzzing whirring noise. This is one month after latest return date. It is supposed to have a 2 year warranty but have no idea how to be making good on that so will be contacting amazon directly. I have no idea if it cleaned the air. I didnt notice or feel any differences to the air quality. It has no moving parts, so don’t understand the mechanism by which it is supposed to clean air. It is extremely clean. There is a vent which has zero sign of dust (you would expect some)...........I will be buying a proper air cleaner. This thing is just a useless gizmo tat couldnt even make it 6 months. Update: excellent customer service - They have sent me a replacement. I’m still not convinced the thing actually works.

Bought for a small kitchen and it works well. Put it on just before cooking and left it on for a few hours after and it cleared the odours. I was pleased to find a purifier that plugged directly into the socket and didn't take up much space as I have nowhere to put a free standing one in the kitchen. Overall I'm pleased with the purifier and the price and will probably buy another one at some point for elsewhere.

I have 3 of these and will be buying more. They make the air feel fresher especially after cooking. They have a strange smell that hasn't gone despite being used frequently but you can only smell it when close up. Says in the instructions that it shouldn't be used in unventilated rooms, I bought my first one to use in a windowless room and it's been fine. This price is cheaper than Argos.

Very noisy product. I bought this for my bedroom, I thought it worked at first but I was just fooled by the noise. I tested it by using the smoke from a match...but the smoke just drifted up normally even 4 inches away with the highest setting. Being unable to switch off the bright light was inconvenient too.

I bought this producit for the kitchen to remove smell of fried onion, curry. I had 2 air purifier before which were totally useless so I was a bit sceptical regards this one. But I can confirm that this device does remove kitchen smells. I don't like a size. It is a little bit bulk. Also it's noisy when it works on max. Souds like a fan. If you set up on minimum, it's totally silent . Flashing lights are too bright specially in the dark. I am happy that it removes kitchen odour but I would prefer if size were smaller, more sillent and no lights.
