Pretty crude and decals are translucent
Some of the parts are crude and needed some work to make them fit properly. I never did get the upper wing to sit 100% correctly on the struts. The decals are absolutely worthless because they are translucent. However, I made it my mission to make this as good of a plane as I could. I ended up painting on the red/white/blue stripes and printed up my own decals for the rest. The results are pretty good and I'm glad I didn't give up on it. I enjoyed the challenge.

Good basic kit
This is a good basic kit that can be made into a nice detailed model. Biplanes - even this with simple construction can be tough on new modelers or children - but if you want to try - this is a good starting point. Limited in kit decal selection but tons available after- market. Note the cockpit is extremely simplified and will require “surgery” and super detailing if you want to have anything approaching a realistic cockpit. Overall good fit and can be made into a sweet little addition to a WWI model collection. Simple and fun. Not adream for advanced modelers but a great fun project kit for all levels.

Putting together was easy, painting it was a challenge as I never painted anything like this before. I guess the correct way to do this would be to paint the parts first and then assemble the tiny plane.

As advertised
Very nice product. Easy to assemble.

Wouldn't recommend
The model took a total of 3 hours to assemble and paint. While the quality is good, there are just 5 steps to build it, making it way to easy to assemble. It's size is so small that it fits in the palm of my hand perfectly. Needs more detail, and the decals weren't very good for me. Seeing swastikas in the decals made them unusable. However, this does give a chance to do your own thing and experiment with color. While the price was nice, the assembly was overly simple.
