Working great with easy install.

After checking around the internet for exactly what I needed to replace my shot dvdrw burner, Google searched what I wanted and gave this seller a try. Happy that I did. Again, perfect transaction.

Used it to replace a drive in an HP box that dies. No issues.

Cd/DVD writer/player worked awesome. It fit perfectly, too. I only wish they offered a Blu-ray unit to match my computer precisely.

Easy to install conputer up and backing up again

This installed in a couple of minutes. No new software to install, just worked perfectly ones installed.

The burner works better than when the original writer was new.

This is the original unit that came with my HP Pavilion desktop. Very thin and flimsy. Like a crepe. What happened to the thick, durable optical drives of years past? The optical drive was dead on arrival and never worked. After much painful interfacing with the Indians in India, HP granted a warranty replacement. I have not used it much, but a few months later it too died. These units are pure garbage as are the HP desktops as well. I would never have purchased an HP except that my laptop unexpectedly burned up and I did not have internet service with which to go shopping so had to buy something off the shelf at Worst Buy. So I am stuck with HP garbage.
