worked for couple of months
Ibought this because I do a LOT PHOTOS AND VIDEOS AND Needed something that would allow me to use external hdd as well as an internal drive. worked well for a few months now wont work at all the led is on. but the computer doesnt recognise the hard drives yet when unplugged the hdd work without the unit so hence there is a problem with the acisis unit the internal frive I added i cant check because this is the only interface I had even without the internal hdd the unit is not recognized.

SD card reader is slow
The device is great overall, featuring a convenient spot for a fast SSD, USB ports, and other connections. However, the SD card reader is quite slow, so don't expect high transfer speeds when copying data from your SD card. This is a bit disappointing if you're looking for quick data transfers from your card.

Does it all for remote rig
Case is aluminum alloy, a MUST! This accepts both SSD and SATAโ and cards. I put a 2Tb Samsung 980 Pro SSD into it as an extension to iPhone video and to handle the aux devices (mic(s), lights, PD power). Works well distributing power, linking devices, and disperses heat efficiently. Sturdy plugs all around; despite that USB-3/4 cables being less flexible, I would like to supply some further support (3-D printing to the task?). Velcro is your friend if using this on a remote rig. Featherweight, small: fits in a phone holder. CON: The silicone jacket fits the end plugs poorly, and must be trimmed; not a problem. Definitely not weatherproof, nor hopes to be. LED for connection is on end rather than on top. Minor cons on a major unit!
