Perfect AC DIY Fan For Your Electronic Needs
This fan is a great item to use on your DIY projects. Its not too loud and does not make a lot of noise. The material used is very sturdy and it comes with a detachable power cord. Please make note this fan is to be used with an AC wall outlet. The power chord is sturdy and its about 3 - 4 feet in length. It also has a metal grill to prevent fingers from getting into the fan blades which can be mounted on any side of the air flow. If a fan spins too fast, it makes too much noise and will not give efficient air flow to energy consumption. If it spins too slow it will not give proper air flow for cooling. I find this fan speed to be ideal for cooling network switches inside a cabinet.

Not quiet at all
Pics in ad show two different fans, one with straight blades and one with curvy blades. I assume the curvy one is the quiet version, I was sent the straight blade version. I have this in a closet behind my air conditioner, and it's louder than the air conditioner.

Very defective. Phony ul approvals
This fan worked fine for the first few weeks but then I started noticing a problem. The fan would stop running every few hours. Then the plug smoldered when I replugged it in but not not spin. I was so unnerved by this I looked at the label and looked up this products brand and info. It is not rated by Underwriters Lab. The ul approvals on the label are all phony.

Fan to send heat to back of house.
Made a plastic plate, mounted close to ceiling pointed to the back of the house. It picks up heat from wood stove and sends back to warm up the back rooms. Works great and also using a speed control on the fan.

i use this to cool a stereo cabinet. very little noise. replaced the old one that got noisy after 5 yrs of constant use

Not as quiet...
Bought these as replacement for the server case original fan that it came with. I’m afraid it’s not as quiet as I’d like. It’s only slightly quieter then what I expected but still extremely loud. If it came with a variable setting or did not have such a high rpm it would be so much quieter.
