What Aunts Do Best/What Uncles Do Best

I was looking for a small gift to give my new great-nephew. Since I love children's books, of course I went straight to Amazon! I searched "book from Aunt" and What Aunts Do Best/What Uncles Do Best popped up. What a great idea - uncles tend to be overlooked (in our family), so this was a great way to include my husband in our grand-nephew's life. It is a wonderful book, beautiful illustrations. Our niece loved the book and I'm looking forward to Knox being old enough for me to read it to him - and to do some of the things described in the book!

There are very few books written to a child from an aunt and uncle point of view. This is a very cute little story, and I look forward to the day that my niece is old enough to understand it.The illustrations are bold and eye catching, and the text is simple enough for a child, but not too boring for an adult to enjoy reading it to the child.

Such a cute book. Worked well as a baby announcement gift for my brother and sister. This book is double sided, and both genders are represented on both the aunt and uncle side (Ie the aunt has neices and nephews pictured, as does the uncle). Very eager to reading this with our future son!

I got this as a gift for my brother and sister in law, and it is the cutest book! They love reading it together to my son when they babysit and I have never seen any other book like it. Cute story, great graphics. This would be the perfect gift for a new aunt / uncle! Highly recommend.

This book is adorable, but I think it should be made clear that one side is about aunts and the other side of the book, if you flip it upside-down, is about uncles. It's a cute concept and I'm glad I have a fiancee so I can say the book is from both of us - but it wasn't clear that the book is made this way. If you just want something about aunts or just about uncles, this isn't for you.

Gave to my brother as a pregnancy announcement he loved it

My wife and I bought this book to give to my sister and her husband as we are expecting our first child. It is a cute book that is reversible with a side for the aunt and a side for the uncle. My sister loves it and she is looking forward to her first nephew.

I bought this for my niece because I could not find books on Amazon about Aunts! Then I realized Laura Numeroff was the person who wrote If You Give a Mouse a Cookie etc.! This is a very cute story except I don't like how the Uncle story is exactly the same. It sort of gives off a tone that uncles and aunts do the same thing. The illustrations are very cute! I bought this strictly for the Aunt story and did not realize flipped it is an Uncle story so that is kind of neat! Even though baby will not have an Uncle on this side yet because I am only 21😊

Love that it had 1/2 the pages for uncle and 1/2 the pages for aunt all in one book.

It's a very limited market for aunts and uncles and the book is generally suited to older children. As this was all I could find in the aunt and uncle category I bought it as a gift. No feedback from the recipients so can say no more.

Such a great story for the little ones in your life. Love that it includes Aunts on one side and Uncles on the other. Great pictures. Definitely one of our favourite books.

Great book if kids aunt/uncle does all these parent-like things

It is a super cute book, but I'm disappointed the Aunt and Uncle story's are the exact same. So you flip it over and read the same words swapping Aunt with Uncle. It's very simple so it shouldn't have been hard to find a few different activities!
