Didnโt expect to fall in love with this deck
I donโt know how this became one of my staples in my collection, because the art isnโt my favorite, but for some reason I was drawn to this deck. It is beautiful and deep. There is a guidebook (not the LWB) that you should purchase separately - it is a must because it will explain the cards and meanings. This deck has a knack for giving me the exact advice I need for the moment; honestly one of the best, most insightful decks Iโve worked with.

Let the Wise Woman Guide You
Medicine Woman Tarot Deck I was hesitant to purchase this deck because the artwork seems to be very simple and I was concerned that it compromised the symbolism of Tarot. However, as soon as I opened this deck, I was so happy that I made this purchase. This deck is very feminine and gentle, and has a very nurturing and positive vibe in it - just like a wise, olderly woman giving you insightful advice to help you grow. You don't have to worry about negative cards because the entire deck is very positive. It is also a very earthy deck, which would help you with grounding and connecting to Mother Earth. I found the messages in the cards very gentle, but firm and profound. Since the theme of this deck is native American spirituality, if you have some background knowledge in native American culture, you will establish a fantastic connection with this deck. This deck is made in Italy and has a glossier feeling. I found the cardstock good quality and the deck easy to shuffle. I am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend this deck to anyone especially those who are looking for healing and grounding.

LOVE IT!
I like that the traditional 'court cards' are different; I love that this deck is intuitive and 'speaks' to me so easily with the pictures. I did purchase the workbook that arrived days after I started using the deck and as of yet I have not even opened it. I will when I get some time, but it is not necessary to use the deck. (I expect it will enhance my personal spiritual journey but I do not need it for readings!) The key idea of the card is in the tiny pamphlet that comes with ... have a magnifying glass nearby because the print is tiny! I love the 'universal-ness' of this deck ... and my readings have been right on target!

I love this deck
The art is rather rudimentary but the readings are very accurate with this deck. I recommend getting the book to go with this deck. The author's interpretations of the cards are more modern and relatable and include exercises to help you dive deeper into your reading. Lots of other great information inside the book, as well. I think the book is an educational read with or without the matching deck!

Wasn't comfortable with the use of "Native American" imagery in this deck
I ordered this deck, despite the name ("Medicine Woman"? really?), because I thought the art on the cards looked beautiful and was hopeful that the multicultural aspect would overshadow the (mis)use and amalgamation of Amerindian cultures (nameless blending of vastly different belief systems and the assumption that all Native American nations are the same, along with a bunch of "noble savage" stereotypes about American Indians' connection to nature, etc., as a white person with Odawa and Cherokee ancestry this made me profoundly uncomfortable). I am not accusing the creator of purposefully being offensive, I'm sure she would claim that she respects and honors these cultures, but the message coming from the deck itself, devoid of context, says otherwise.I say "devoid of context" because I bought the deck without the more detailed book and maybe that would offer more nuance and more explanation of why images and motifs (such as "lodges" and "arrows" for suit names) were chosen and from which cultures they came. There is also at least one card featuring an obviously caucasian woman (blond hair, pale skin) wearing an Eagle headdress. If such things would make you uncomfortable, I suggest skipping this deck.As is, the deck is visually pretty, with simple, colorful, and uplifting images, but I am uncomfortable using it for the reasons listed above. As for the physical deck, the cardstock is sturdy but not so thick as to make it difficult to shuffle or handle, it is a nice size for shuffling. In the end I decided to take a refund for this deck.

Incredible deck.
Everyone has that "This is it deck" This is mine. The images are bright and clear. For me this is the best cardstock of any of my decks. I don't care for the thick stiff cards. I want a working deck and this one fits the bill. Fantastic to hold and it is the easiest deck I have ever shuffled. Love it and recommend it.

Powerful Deck!
A must have in your collection if you are more than a tarot reader (healer, shaman, lightworker). Someone with a hands on mission/purpose.

Feminine energy within the Tarot
The Medicine Woman Tarot has a very special energy. It holds very much the Feminine vibration. It is based on the traditional Tarot pack, but with its own unique perspective. The suits are Stones, Pipes, Arrows and Bowls, and the Court Cards are Exemplar, Lodge, Totem and Apprentice. The Major Arcana has some beautiful images, and, again, some unique cards: Seed, Healing, Sunset. As a Tarot Practitioner of more than 25 years, I am delighted to add this pack to my collection. I shall also be including a section on it in my Tarot Course. I recommend it to those exploring the Tarot, and also the energy of the Divine Feminine; it is a powerful, yet gentle, introduction to both.

Good quality
Good quality cards with lovely images. Not quite what I had hoped for, but that is more about taste than the actual cards.
