I've bought many flatware sets that simply don't work! You put them on the edge of your plate, and they fall to the floor en route to the kitchen. These are very well-balanced and look fabulous on the table. We bought these after using them in a lovely AirBnB rental. We love the modern look of the black finish. The finish can wear around the edges, but not as badly as other reviewers indicate. Perhaps it is because we don't have a dishwasher! We wash them by hand. One downside is guests have mistakenly thrown them away because they are accustomed to seeing the black plasticware we use for large parties. I bought an extra setting when these were on sale to complete my set. The price is high compared to other flatware, but the quality is excellent.

I love the look and feel of this flatware set. They are heavy but not too heavy and the brushed stainless finish doesn’t show water spots when run through the dishwasher. Very high quality and I would definitely recommend. The only downside is this set is on the pricey side

At first, I was really pleased with this flatware set. The finish looked great and the pieces had a nice weight to them—they felt solid and well-made when we first started using them.However, after about a year of normal use, the finish began to deteriorate. Several pieces developed staining and small rust spots, which was very disappointing for a set advertised as 18/10 stainless steel. The knives in particular seem to be the worst offenders.We’ve taken good care of the set: no abrasives, no harsh scrubbing, and we don’t leave them sitting in acidic liquids. Despite that, the staining still appeared and has gradually gotten worse.If you're looking for a flatware set that will last 10–15 years like many other stainless sets do, this probably isn’t the one. Considering the relatively high price tag, I expected much better long-term durability.

I'm not much for decorating my home with fancy stuff, and I'm the last person you'd ever expect to spend this much on flatware of all things. I'm usually perfectly happy to get plates at goodwill. But after a few years of using the cheap stamped flatware widely available at Amazon, I got tired of not being able to dig a spoon into really cold ice cream without bending it.It was hard to swallow spending what seemed like an exorbitant amount of money on forks and spoons, but once I did... I never could have predicted how "fancy" they feel. These things weigh so much more than the stamped flatware you can get for 30 bucks. They don't flex in the slightest when challenged with rock-hard ice cream. I don't think I've ever bought something that makes me feel more like a functional adult.I regularly run them through the dishwasher and after owning them for a couple months, they don't seem to discolor at all.The only downside to them, and it's a minor one, is that they're so shiny that my thumbprint always ends up visible on them after I take them from the dishwasher to the drawer.I enjoyed these so much that I ended up buying another set so I'd have 8 of everything.

I have a similar set for four, almost identical that I purchased at a discount store decades ago. I couple pieces disappeared and I needed at least service for four. They match, but a few pieces were scratched due to poor packaging. Not a big deal, I am not nit-picky. They work, they have a nice feel, heavy and sleek. One star off for scratched dinner forks. Great value.

This review is specifically for the brushed gold finish. The weight and style of these utensils is great; they feel good in the hand. I would not hesitate to purchase the stainless finish.If you must have the brushed gold, it is NOT dishwasher safe despite being advertised as such. After about a week, I had multiple colors of flatware in my drawer. You must hand wash the brushed gold.

These utensils are high quality and set a very nice table for everyday and guests. I initially ordered the brushed finish but then switched to the shiny - soooooo much better! Super nice Arezzo from Fortessa. I ordered enough for 8 settings and of these only 2 pieces were slightly marred. Amazon quickly arranged for Fortessa to replace them. All happy here!

I’ve been searching for the perfect set that wasn’t $500 for service for 8. These are perfect. They are heavy but feel great in the hand and I love all the shapes. Touch of modern but not too trendy. They can be casual or more elevated. Very happy with purchase so far. Hoping they hold up in the dishwasher so far after a few washes, no issues.

I bought this flatware set when my current black coated handle set started peeling. I was ready to pay more this time and was looking for quality pieces that will last and look good even as my tastes change.This is set is classic in design while also being modern with a sleek smooth finish, lovely sheen and crisp lines.The weight of this flatware is comfortable, being neither too light nor too heavy. The small forks and small spoons are a good size for salads and fruits while the full sized spoon is more than adequate for feeding a luscious soup.These are dishwasher safe, which is an absolute must for me. I imagine that the first few weeks they will be careful hand washed for their lifetime - however, I am never full committed to that - just ask my Henkels Cookware and my Shun knives!

Good weight, quality finish.

Needed a service for ten ,but instead of being able to purchase two settings for five I had to purchase nine single place settings...huge additional cost....only way to get in colour I wanted...cost at least $100 extra this way

Son unos excelentes cubiertos, se nota la calidad, en el material, el color es genial, muy recpomendable.

Used these for a week and they're already scratched with weird dents and I've only hand washed them. Not worth the price. I love the weight and the shape of the flatware but do not get the polished set, its a fingerprint magnet... and you are required to polish them each time after you wash them otherwise they just look like dirty spoons.
