Aveeno Active Naturals Pure Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner Set, 10.5 Fluid Ounce each

I tried using both shampoo and conditioner. It is little better than the daily used shampoos, however still do not see justifying the price tag it has.

This product was purchased for my daughter who has a natural hair type. However, I used prior to giving to her in order to assess and determine the quality of the product. At first when washing my hair, it felt a little squeaky, as if it was stripping my relaxed hair. As I washed for the second and third time, I noticed that the natural cleaning agents were working in a way that was better than sulfate products. After washing and conditioning my hair, I continued with my normal regimen. This product adds body in a way that appears to be salon perfected. My oldest daughter could not stop complimenting me on how good my hair looked. She asked me numerous times what I had done differently to my hair. She found it hard to believe that just using the product once had that kind of effect on my hair. I would recommend this product to everyone who wants a SULFATE FREE product that results in healthier hair.

I have uncolored naturally wavy hair that I rarely use heat on (I used to do keratin treatments living in Florida humidity that started great but after a few years left my hair brittle and damaged) and I have tried so many high end expensive “sulfate free” shampoos and conditioners that never worked for me or left my hair feeling worse than before - HOWEVER, I just recently learned that I have low porosity hair and have been learning what products to avoid since - this shampoo and conditioner is great not only because it’s sulfate free, but there’s no added keratin or proteins that weigh my hair down and dry it out. Literally a life saving shampoo and conditioner!!!!!! My hair is super soft and way more managed than it has ever been and I don’t need keratin treatments anymore to get the same smooth and shiny soft results!

I am OBSESSED with this shampoo. I had just recently bought the Pantene Moisture Renewal 20% more sized bottles before I got my hair colored. My hair stylist told me I needed to use something without sulfates to keep the color. Since I really didn’t feel like spending a ton more money after just purchasing shampoo and conditioner, I chose this duo when it was in Prime Pantry.Let me tell you, it is incredible. Smells amazing, leaves my hair feeling so light like there’s no residue or anything whatsoever, and really cleans my scalp. I won’t ever use another shampoo and conditioner. LOVE IT. If you’re not sure if you should try because it only has 4 stars go ahead and try it anyway! You won’t be disappointed.

I don’t feel that I can fully rate this in terms of long-term results, but I’ve used it once & am pleased. Gentle, still foamy. Some ingredients that give a great lather are not very good for our skin. But I have never had a bad Aveeno product. My hair is soft & there is zero scent left behind which is great if that is important to you.
