Easy to install, works as it should.

I notoriously overload my closets with both items on hangars & folded clothing on top of the shelves. I live in a cold climate & winter stuff is much heavier so my coat closet came crashing down at 2 in the morning recently. Startling is an understatement. No idea what brand my pre-installed closet shelving is but this seemed to be the one after taking some simple measurements of the support brackets that were already there. These fit perfectly. They are also very straightforward to install, I did so without removing any of the other brackets or the shelving itself in another closet where I'm trying to avoid the same disaster. I found the halfway point between each existing support brackets, added these & feel like I can do pullups on them now. But I won't. One of the best reluctant-but-necessary purchases I've made in a while.

These supports arrived and worked well to add 3 more shelves to an existing project. All mounting hardware is included with the support. The brackets some in a 2-pack, which was not mentioned in the description! So I ended up with twice the number of brackets needed. A bit of clarification in the description would have been very helpful. Also, strangely enough the shipment arrived in a 36 inch tall 6" x 6" box. The bracket and attached "marketing" materials are only 20" tall, so they sloshed around in this huge box! But they arrived undamaged and in excellent condition.

The price was right! I received my shelf supports in good time. They are sturdy and just what I needed. I rated them four stars because the holes were too big for the nailhead. I used anchors and screws instead.

Want to put a baby elephant on your closet rack? Get these. Just position them right and hammer the provided nail into the wall. Since it was my first time installing one, it took me time to position it right. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! I had to remove and reinstall one of them since I missed an important instruction. Installing the second one was a breeze. Once you know what you're doing, you can install one in seconds.

Wanted to add more support. I have some in from past. But not holding up weight. Thought if put more in but no. Should have use closetmaid system . should have vertical bar system where stronger bracket go into bars.photo is a better closet system Rubbermaid. Going to redo closet when this system breaks down again.

My husband and I moved a builder grade wire shelf out of our laundry room and wanted to install it in our garage. Of course, we lost the brackets before we could actually get it up on the wall. I did a little googling and found these replacement brackets. They fit perfectly and made me happier than having to purchase an entirely new shelf!
