Please guys delete your reviews. Just put good or bad. No nod of approval bs or anything. NBC and CBS as well as senators are using amazon reviews as proof to ban poppy seeds. Google poppy seed safety act by cotton and youll see. It is so very important that all of you take the time to delete your "unwashed" "tea" etc any reviews or the US will ban poppy seeds. I beg you all take the time and delete / change your reviews. If we dont clean up reviews on ALL seeds on amazon they will be gone.

Be prepared for negative reviews. Just received my order, dated 5/19/2020. The April ones were good.

Let me start this review off by saying that, for someone who has nothing but empty bags of SN, these seeds are a BLESSING!Granted, by no means are these seeds "Good" but at the same time they're NOT "Bad" either.... They're somewhere in between. They look, smell and taste like UK seeds and are more than adequate for my baking needs and purposes. The reason I am giving them 4 stars is because of how reasonably priced they are. $36.00 for 5lbs isn't too shabby considering every vendor with seeds worth buying charges considerably more. Plus if you're a Prime member you get FREE 2 day shipping. If it weren't for that, I'd be giving them 3 stars.For quality reference, if you bought seeds from SN last November/December, that's about what these seeds are like. They are on par with the SN 8/10s. They may not be the "BEST" but with all things considered I am more than satisfied with them. And if you are where I was 48 hours ago, that is, you have nothing but empty bags and are having terrible hunger pains, these seeds will MORE than suffice at relieving that hunger. If you catch my drift. I don't know about the reviewer under me, but I'll take "Bland" over nothing any day of the week.Anyway, I'm giving these seeds a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Also, these seeds will be my "go to" until I either find something better or until my favorite vendor comes back in stock.One more thing, just so that you know, if you order 5 lbs, you will not be getting a 5lb bag, you will be sent 5 individual 1 lb bags. Which I will admit is kind of inconvenient but what can you do?Welp, that about sums this review up, I hope it has helped those who are in need.

These tasted ok in my recipe. WARNING: DO NOT buy from Lone Goose! He is buying up all of SN's stock and DOUBLING the price to rip people off. The more people buy from him, the more he will buy up their stock, making him the only source!

I’ve been reading the reviews for a while now, and I felt like I should share what I know as of right now.The company is fully aware that the current stock took a huge nose dive. The vendor is the one responsible for this. NC is in the process of trying to find quality stock again, and this will not be their new “normal.” They have taken a hit with this disappointing stock as much as we have. They’ve had to refund countless customers, and sales have plummeted. This is NOT what any company wants or is going for, and they have been screwed by their vendor who has been truly exceptional up until this point.I’m not sure what the vendor has done to these seeds or why they’ve suddenly changed so drastically, but I know that this company is truly trying to fix the issues.For those who haven’t ordered or who haven’t opened their product yet, don’t. Hold off until they are able to get this all straight and get their old quality back. This stock is garbage and you’ll have better luck with FTL or even grocery store seeds because these have been completely cleaned, washed, irradiated and who knows what else. If you want a similar quality then be prepared to spend about 2-3 times what these cost and go with BB (LGB), PSE or PSD. Otherwise, go with FTL and use 2 times the amount you would normally use for your recipes. SN will restock August 26th, and I’m hopeful NC will find a new vendor soon with the old quality of their seeds and be back on top. Their previous stock was absolutely top of the line, but sadly, this current stuff is as bad as it gets.Go with another brand while NC works to fix this disastrous disappointment. Believe me, they want to get that same quality back for their bottom line. It sucks for them as much as it sucks for those of us who have been their loyal customers for a long time now. They’re going to make a comeback, but in the meantime, don’t waist your money.
