Great entry level dropper
Super easy to install and a worth while upgrade to any bike. You just have to be clever with how you route the cable. A couple zip ties on the top tube and Iโve been happy since day one. Would recommend to anybody for the price point

Works OK.
A good alternative to the much more expensive droppers but performs as expected for the price.

Cable failure on fourth ride.
The cable frayed in the thumb release on the fourth ride, this made it so the cable jammed inside the tubing causing the post to malfunction. It was a multi hour ride and I had to stop and release the the post under the seat each time. I knew I should have bought the Crank Bothers dropper on backcountry.com for $40 more. I now have to buy a new cable and reinstall the whole thing. Never again am I buying any "bargain" MTB parts off amazon. Junk!!!!!!

Great entry level dropper post. So far so good
This is my first dropper post. Placed on a 2007 full suspension mountain bike. Externally routed cable with a 90 degree elbow at the remote helps with cable slack movement. I placed the cable along the top tube with the other cables. I fastened them with some zip ties loosely. I recommend watching some videos on installation because there is a right and wrong way to run the cable. I also recommend using a dremel tool to cut the cable neatly and easily. My saddle bag would not fit with the saddle in the furthest down position. Overall a great introduction into the dropper post world.

Best deal for the money
Easy to install. I had about a foot of extra cable that I cut off without a problem. It came with instructions in English and a thank you card. I have taken it on 2 hard rides and it is working perfectly and taking all the hits. I recommend this to anyone who does not already have a dropper.

Good budget dropper
Works good

Not a very good dropper post, too slow/stiff when changing positions.
I have had one of these for over a year. When the weather is warm it won't fully extend. Movement is stiff, meaning its hard to push down and slow to return to "up" position. This extra time means you have to plan ahead when you see a drop or a hill coming.

Poor design, poor quality
The cable attachment is a poor design. The cable must move down as you drop your seat which is a pain. Also, the lever at the stop can get bumped by your seat when it flexes causing undesired dropping. Finally, the seat mount is single bolt and low quality, so your seat rails will creak. I regret cheaping out and will have to buy something better.
