As someone who has used this product, and also has a degree in nutrition and dietetics I would like to clear up what many are saying about this being a multi-vitamin that could come from GNC. It's not, not even close. First, the ingredients in multivitamins are almost never traceable, or in their most bio-available form. You could take all the B-12 in the world, but if you don't take it as methylcobalamin, your body can't absorb it. The same goes for other vitamins often included in a multi. VitaBeard goes above and beyond the majority of multivitamins and provides a specific blend of vitamins in their most bio-available forms. Not only that, this supplement is traceable - you can actually see where the nutrients are coming from (and the form they come in). This is hugely important, because many companies have very low standards as to what sources they take their supplements from. In fact walgreens, target, and walmart were all just busted for selling sawdust and rice powder as vitamins. The VitaBeard vitamins are being sourced from plants and actual foods, as you can see on the label. The iodine is derived from organic sea kelp, the vitamin E from sunflower oil, etc. I have spent a good deal of time studying mineral supplements, and this is one of the highest quality and purest supplement labels I have ever read. On top of that, its vegan and non-gmo - no fish gelatin or endocrine disrupting pesticides piggybacking their way into your body. Now for the blend at the bottom. This is what really sets VitaBeard apart and distinguishes it even from the best multivitamin out there. It contains MSM, PABA, Silica, methionine, choline, and inosotol. Not only do all of those have an effect on cellular generation, repair, hair health and growth, they are all highly effective. PABA has actually proven to turn hair from grey back to color. For anyone who has experienced this while using the product, thank PABA. MSM is also know to aid in cell division and tissue repair, which aids in accelerated hair growth. Next, the silica derived from horsetail extract is vital to strengthen and thicken hair. I could go on, but hopefully it is clear that this product is much more than a multivitamin. And even if it was, I might still take it because VitaBeard offers such a quality supplement.

Let me start by saying I am a REAL person and this is a REAL and HONEST review and no one has paid me to say anything good or bad about this product. I normally grow a thick and respectable beard. This wasn't really a necessary thing for me to try but I was curious. I have to shave once a month and I wanted to see how much length I could grow in one months time. So I bit the bullet and paid the outrageous price for this gimmicky product. I was skeptical but hopeful! I WANTED to see these vitamins work. Alas I am sorry to report that if these vitamins did ANYTHING at all, they slowed my beard growth down!!! Even my wife noticed my beard wasn't growing nearly as fast as it did in previous months when I wasn't taking these vitamins. It's also important to note that this is basically just a daily multivitamin with a ton of biotin in it. Presumably the maker of this product believes that a lot of biotin leads to better hair and nail growth. And while that is widely accepted as fact, there is no concrete evidence or data to support that assumption. Over all I am very disappointed and would not buy this again or recommend this to a friend, or even an enemy.

Soo far ive tried this for at least 2-3 weeks, everyday taking it, 3 times a day, and to be quiet honest, i have not notice any improving on my facial hair. One thing I have notice though, like many people in here in the reviews have mentioned, the urine does smell, really bad. This actually made me think as to maybe all the vitamins im just pissing them right out, if that is true, then this is not for me,and i dont know if i gotta drink my own urine to make it work. ALSO to keep in mind. If you are someone like me who is not "genetically" favored to have a lot of facial hair and hope that this will improve, thinking again, for me it has not help not one bit. Of course, i have not finished the product yet, and who knows, maybe later in the road i start to notice the changes, but as of right now, there are none. But the urine smelling bad. Also, the pills do smell, but not that bad, i think people are exaggerating over the smell. Anyways, if anybody has any more insight as to why it may not work, or as to why im not seeing results, please drop a comment. My little philosophy of me urinating the vitamins has me worried. Anyways, i hope this was helpful to anyone. I will keep you guys updated. UPDATE:12/8/13 It's been 2 weeks or more that i have finished the entire bottle. I will admit, I am seeing results. I guess my body takes longer to show the effect. Like i said earlier in my review, i am probably not the most genetically favorable person to have facial hair but this bottle, helps. For example, I never had facial hair other than in my upper lip. With this, im starting to see a couple of chin hairs ( lol ) i mean, you can't expect to go from no facial hair to a full bearded face, its just not possible. So i take back with how i rated this first ( a 2 stars) and putting it to a 4. Oh and my upper lip facial hair is more thicker and fuller :) so this product does work, and i recommend if you are willing to be patient and give it time. I wont be done here. I'm planning to buy my next bottle real soon :)

I gotta say this product is dependable . it does its job very well an wastes no time . I oder this product october 13 an I received it the 16th of october . As soon as I gotten the product I instantly started taking them . its only been a couple of days an WOW!!! you would see a difference . I honestly thought some of these people that was commenting about the product saying how they seen results within the next couple of days of taking them . I thought it was B.S but I bite my tongue because they were honestly not kidding . My facial hair is much darker an shinier , Growing tremendously , like you can see my facial gotten much longer . Patches are definitely working its way to filling in . Its an amazing product an I can vouch for it clearly because I don't believe things until I see it an it prove me that its worth buying an not a b.s product . What made me by this because I wanted to grow a full beard so bad an trying everything I could to get a fuller beard man everything was letting me down , until I came across this one an it pleased me . It said you have to take three but thats not necessary . What you can do is take two a day , an I would recommend taking biotin with this product , I do it an I'm getting tremendous growth. Soon ill have my full beard cant wait . So patchy face guys Buy this product trust me , it wont fail you at all . I will be buying another one very soon . So don't knock it until you try it , SO TRY IT !!!

Used this for 3 months without knowing much about vitamins. It worked. My beard, which was already full, was thicker, grew faster, and greys seemed less. If felt healthier too. But I looked at the label and compared it to a regular, much cheaper, multivitamin. Except for the product having Biotin, they were identical. Save your money. Get a good multivitamin and add a Biotin supplement (and a fish oil if you want). The cost for all three will be less than this one bottle.

This really has helped my beard improve in its growth during my time using this product. Although, you must remember that age, health, genetics and your lifestyle will greatly contribute to how well your beard grows. That being said, a lot of you seem to think that this product (or any other beard growth product) give you a beard where there is none. That is simply not true. Vitabeard has made it very clear that this will help your beard growth, but it will not grow you a beard if you do not have the genetic gift of growing one. Simply put, if you have facial hair, it will help improve it. If you don't and think this will grow you one, it will not.

Let me cut right to the chase; It is probably best using this product on a shaven face, that way you can REALLY see the results (if any). I was attempting to grow a beard before I ordered these and for quite some time, I haven't been able to grow a full one. There seems to be an imbalance w/ my facial hair, as the left side of my face seems to grow more hair than my right. It is very annoying, as I am 33 y/o and have always been a fan of beards/goatees, especially since I cut my own hair and do all of the regular grooming myself. In addition, my father looked like a grizzly bear when he was my age. I figured I'd order these just to see if it would help 'fill in the gaps' of my already 'light beard.' I can honestly tell you that I really can't come to that conclusion on whether it has helped or not. Prior to these, I was taking Biotin 5000mg vitamins and I don't even know if THAT'S been helping. I see some life fuzz growing in the areas that were once gaps, but I don't know if I should credit the vitamins or the fact that my body may be going through the changes, as I am fairly active in the gym. Personally, I feel like I've wasted $30 on VitaBeard, but I'm not too upset about it b/c I had a good feeling about the benefits of these vitamins before I ordered them. A few ppl who have written reviews, appeared to have the same delays in facial hair growth as I, and after reading their reviews, they seemed to all have some type of positive result. So naturally, I felt good about the purchase. I'll give these pills about 3 months (I've had them for about 2 weeks now) and will not shave for this period. I take two a day for five days and then I rest on the weekend. If by March I don't see much of a difference, then I will declare this product as wasted money. Stay tuned...

I wasn't sure what results to expect from taking beard vitamins, but after reading the positive reviews here I decided to give them a shot. After using them for about a month, my beard was noticeably softer and shinier. Now at four months I'm also seeing fewer stray hairs in the sink when I shampoo and comb my beard. My significant other has been complaining lately that my beard is too thick, so they definitely work! The directions on the bottle suggest taking up to three per day, though I usually just take one or two and that seems to do the trick. The pills do smell and taste awful, but you get used to it and that's the only drawback. Wash them down with some juice or any sweet beverage and you won't even notice. I'll end the review with a small and happy side effect I've experienced from taking these. I'm not ashamed to admit on an amazon review that I've suffered from acne outbreaks on my chest and back since high school. Since taking these supplements the acne has gradually cleared and is now just about gone - this after years of trying all sorts of topical ointments to no avail. I have no idea why these pills would have that effect, but I suppose a supplement that is meant to improve the health of your hair will also do the same for you skin. Needless to say, I'm very pleased to have tried VitaBeard and plan on using it for a long time to come!
