Beautiful tips
The driftwood tips on these needles are wonderful! SO much nicer than bamboo tips as they actually have a little flex. However, the join (needle to cable) has some kind of rough spot (like a spur) and the yarn snags on it while knitting. This is really irritating. I also bought a 32" circular and the join was perfect BUT after making 1 1/2 pairs of socks, one of the tips snapped in 2 almost lengthwise. The cables are okay - I am a fan of Chiao Goo cables and these are not as nice nor as pliable as CG's cables (but then, whose are!?) I won't be buying these needles again because of the issues with these 2 pairs. I wanted to try them, I did, and I'll stick with my CGs from now on.

Splintered immediately!
I cast on a pair of toe up socks and it splintered almost immediately. I'm so disappointed, I was really looking forward to using these needles. I will stick with my addi turbos.
