Review: Great Product - My mother suffers from lyphadema and has chronic swelling her calves and feet, making it difficult to wear her normal shoes. These shoes are easy and quick to slip on and are very comfortable. Review: Great roomy fit! Footbed needs more cushion! - These shoes replaced a previous order of the same shoes bought from this company that I bought a size too small. After I wrote to them that it would be several days before I could return the smaller ones, they credited my account with a full refund & then wrote me that I did NOT have to return the shoes! I was so touched & impressed by this gesture of goodwill from them, that even though I ran into the same shoes on the web being sold elsewhere, I made sure to come back to this company. The size larger that I bought the 2nd time fit great! They are so adjustable, you can fit the width to meet your needs. But my advice to you is to GET ONE SIZE LARGER THAN WHAT YOU WEAR! I wear an 8, but the Size 8 had my toe touching the top end of the shoe! I needed Size 9. Also, thereโs ONE NEGATIVE attribute about these shoes: the bottoms of them, on the soles under your feet, are NOT CUSHIONED at all! In other words, they have a hard rubber or plastic sole that doesnโt have any give to it. I am planning on getting some type of cushion shoe inserts for them, to, hopefully, remedy this problem. The shoes I have currently been used to wearing are made totally of spongy rubber, so the soles are all springy & bouncy. So thatโs what Iโm accustomed to & am comparing these shoes to! But overall, I think these shoes are wonderful for those who need to be able to adjust them to their feet because of various maladies & conditions! I would just make sure to (1) order a size larger than what you normally wear, and (2) be aware you may have to cushion the soles by adding soft shoe inserts. Make your feet, and YOU, feel better! Thank you for the great quality and comfort.
I had surgery in my toes and have had serious, sports-induced, feet problems for quite sometime. My main concern with these shoes was the closed toe box. Not a problem. The quality of workmanship and materials is very good; the Velcro is strong and allows for tightening or loosening up; the rocker feature is moderate and protective if your problem area is the toes; and the sole is such, that I can walk on my heel when necessary. These are warm, so warmer weather might require further research.

comfy wish more cusion but nice and wide
they are wide, not real cusioned , the silverts were more cushiony but the toes were more pointed. all in all these are fine , just wish they had more cushion inside

Great traction (keep that in mind)
We bought these for someone dealing with swollen legs, ankles, and feet. They are VERY adjustable, so it works well for appointments, especially on rainy days, etc. However, the traction can sometimes cause a bit of discomfort because she shuffles a great deal, so they don't slide as she is accustomed to on the hard wood flooring. A great shoe and very non-slip, just know that they are exactly what they say that they are.

SO comfortable!
Yowch! I broke my pinky toe in January and couldn't BEGIN to wear a regular shoe for at least two months. This shoe saved me! The design is ideal for fitting a variety of foot shapes and conditions within the size you choose. The velcro side just wraps over to fit as snugly or loosely as you need. The toe box is absolutely roomy and put no pressure whatsoever on my toes. The footbed feels like Memory Foam but with a rugged, weatherproof sole, and it's like walking on a cloud! You'll laugh, but I thought these shoes were sort of cute, too! I mean, I won't be trading in my fancy heels - but these are not the institutional-looking clodhoppers I'm used to seeing for injuries or chronic conditions. They just sort of look like bedroom slippers, which is what I use them for now that my toe has healed. I sincerely recommend these fantastically comfortable shoes!!!

Didn't fit right.
My wife gas swollen feet & ankles, but not very large feet. These shoes are too long for her, not wide enough, and too difficult to get on & off.

Best pair I found for very swollen/obese feet.
I had to return because the patient's feet are too deformed. But they were the first pair, after three tries with other brands, that fit her size 6.5 foot and the width and velcro allowed the shoe to be fastened. For her, it would have helped if the velcro were even longer, but most diabetic feet are not a short and round as hers. It was determined that this patient just can no longer wear shoes.

Excellent compression with comfort
These are even better than I expected. Easy to manipulate and they are comfortable enough to wear all day. They are sturdy enough to wear outside, too. I'm going to purchase another pair for that purpose. They compress really well without being tight or uncomfortable.

Horrible shoes
These shoes are ugly, uncomfortable and poorly made. Buying shoes from Amazon as a diabetic is a complete disappointment.
