Purchased this item mainly because of the price and the reviews. I’m not very good at DIY, but watched a couple of YouTube videos and decided to give it a go. The upper seal that fits between the actual fitting and the sink, along with the bottom seal the fits below the sink are fantastic at sealing the drain as long as you tighten the brass nut tight enough. Very easy to install once you clean the area well and ensure it is dry. So far, this product has been very good and looks amazing.

Arrived really quickly to replace the one in our bathroom sink that was tarnished and ugly. It was fitted this morning and although early days, it looks like it’s going to be perfect for what we need.

After short user it seems nice and shiny and functional.

I have fitted a number of sinks for myself and family members and the wastes can be a nightmare however this one is the best quality one I've come across, doesn't stick like some when push it down, seals and releases easily, fitting it was easy. Why is it the best quality? Because it comes with a soft silicone washer which does seal and a brass nut which is a massive plus, a lot of them come with a plastic nut which cracks over time if not when you're tightening it up! But beware, the leaking you will probably get is because you need to use teflon tape on the waste thread to stop the water dripping through. A simple fix and much better than trying to seal with silicone.

The plug never came up to my needs also leaked water

I had to undo an elbow on my sink and accidentally dislodged existing waste which was fitted with plumbers gunk and silicone. So that started leaking and I had get rid of that. Picked this up as the only thing I could find next day that fitted my requirements - had to be click waste with overflow and no plastic anywhere. This thing is chrome coated brass, silicone seals, easy to undo top clicker to clean the waste. It can be easily fitted with no plumber’s tools as no gunk or silicone is needed. It also means you can remove it and clean it after a year or two and just refit it with no drama. Seals seem decent. The bottom seal actually has thread to stop water flowing down the core so pay attention to make sure it is properly in threads when you fit it. On the first fitting mine did seep water through threads. I refitted with some plumbers tape on the thread and it is fine now. Will see how well chrome finish lasts, but general design and construction seem good. For emergency replacement I couldn’t be happier.
