These are good. Here's how they taste.
I'm giving the Evolve protein drinks all four stars. I'm only holding back one star because they don't taste like a fat-laden ice dream milk shake.PROS1. These are a life-saver if you have had bariatric surgery and cannot tolerate whey protein products. I have never had a milk allergy of any sort, but whey protein goes right through me. Plant protein (mostly pea) is just fine.2. These are definitely palatable and don't taste bad at all. I have tried chocolate, toasted almond and vanilla. The chocolate and toasted almond taste fine to ME. The vanilla really turns me off even though I usually like vanilla drinks. HAS ANYONE TASTED THE Mixed Berry Beet FLAVOR?3. These are an excellent source of complete plant protein. They are "clean" by which I mean they don't leave any sort of film in your mouth and are not as chalky as some protein drinks.CONS1. I'd like to try the Berry Beet flavor, but I object to having to spend $30 and buy a dozen in order to find out how they taste. They should sell a sampler. Even the manufacturer's website shows the sampler as being out of stock.2. Even though for me these drinks are worth every penny (no whey and drinkable), they are still pretty pricey. I can live with this because in the weeks following bariatric sleeve surgery, your dietary instructions include A LOT of protein drinks. They are hugely important in packing in high quality grams of protein at the expense of relatively few calories. The protein and exercise are essential if you want to lose FAT and not burn off MUSCLE mass.Okay. I've convinced myself to give these drinks 5 stars after all.

Great Shake but not Really Mocha Flavored
I have tasted a ton of ready-made protein shakes. These are great tasting. I look for plant based because whey or soy make me nauseous. Sometimes the plant based shakes are gritty but these are pretty smooth in texture. I look to avoid a lot of weird ingredients and I avoid fake sugars. The ingredient list is really good and simplistic on this one. The only drawback to me is there is no distinct mocha flavor. I know it is called "mellow mocha" but I don't taste anything remotely mocha. It needs more coffee flavoring to make it mocha. It is like a bland chocolate IMO but I still like it. For the convenience, these are worth the money.

Pleasantly surprised
I’ve tried quite a few plant protein drinks; orgain, Vega, owyn to name a few and they are ok...this one surprised me...it was pretty tasty (chocolate flavor), it’s not chunky or too chalky, it’s still a protein drink.. but tastes waaay better than the others I’ve had. I will keep buying this one. The nutrition labels do differ from the product website, I have an email to their customer service asking which is correct. I’ll update when I hear back.

Awesome Plant Based Protein
My hair was falling out due to I was not getting enough protein. I found this plant-based protein in a local grocery store, and it was wonderful. I decided to check to see if I could order from Amazon. I was excited that I could. Hey and guess what my hair is not falling out anymore due to I am getting the protein I need with two shakes a day. Almond is very could, but I do like the chocolate the best. It tastes like chocolate milk, and since I can't do dairy, this was an amazing surprise.

Not a fan of toasted almond
Honestly. The toasted almond is kinda gross. It tastes like milk that’s about to go spoiled. I’ve had the chocolate flavor and it was delicious. Next time I’ll just stick to chocolate.

Difficulty eating? This is the meal replacement for you.
I have severe gastrointestinal issues making it difficult to consume most foods/beverages. On one of my health blogs for my conditions, someone suggested Evolve. I hadn't seen Evolve and had literally already tried 30+ shakes that caused extreme pain. Evolve has been a God send for me! I am now getting protein and nutrition without all the pesky sugar, gmo, whey, soy, pork, etc that make my condition worse. :)I highly recommend Evolve and I actually do recommend it on the health blogs. I noticed some comments about taste which I find funny because it tastes superior to ALL the other brands I've tasted. Having said that I weaned off sugar and fat a few years ago, so even a little sweet is strong for me.

Love this product!
As a vegan who often works out and is on a diet this is a lifesaver. I can get decent tasting protein (20 grams for only 150 calories) on the go. The protein to calorie ratio is great, the bottle is light and easy to take on the go and has been a lifesaver for me when I'm trying to get quick protein but don't have time to make a shake at home. Started with the toasted almond and getting the chocolate next. This is a low cal protein drink- it does not taste like a 5 star dessert- but is definitely much better than I expected. Creamy- not chalkiness.

Extremely bland & weird tasting!
These are the strangest tasting shakes I've ever had. I purchased the Mellow Mocha, but there is zero mocha flavor to speak of. In fact, it almost tastes like nothing, as unusual as that sounds. I can't even begin to explain, but I've had MANY vegan/plant-based rtd shakes, and this is one of the worst. I am disabled, and can't cook a lot for myself, so I need all the protein I can get. I've been searching relentlessly for the best shake to suit my needs, but it's really hard to find a good one. As long as I add agave and a good amount of cinnamon, I can choke these down, since it's very inconvenient for me to make returns. Sad...another one bites the dust.
