Great speakers/Very good price.
I was looking to replace my 13 year old HT speakers to complement my recently acquired Sony XBR65X950H TV and Denon AVR-X470H AVR. After extensive research I decided on these Klipsch RP-8000F I was at first drawn to them because of something trivial like the copper cones. They look good with the magnetic grills removed which is a neat feature neither of which has anything to do with sound reproduction. The 8000's are well built and really heavy With the well designed somewhat flared Cast Aluminum feet, these speakers are very stable The Sound: What a pleasing difference between my old speakers and these 8000's, and there should well be. Clarity and openness first caught my attention. Familiar tracks exhibited a freshness that to me was noticeable. I was streaming Luke Cage (filled with many Bass heavy segments) and after a while I noticed that my Sub was turned off. There was plenty of Bass coming from each speaker. Turning the Sub on made a less noticeable difference compared to my old setup, well that is until a room rumbling rift comes along. Some may even get by without a Sub, but I like the added feel of the combination together. These 8000's do need a little break-in time. 4 days after initial automated Audyssey calibration I Re-calibrated with Audyssey and noticed a 1 to 1.5 db drop in speaker levels. I am very pleased with this purchase especially at 25% off. These came double boxed from Amazon and were in pristine condition.

Such a deal!
Bought the 8000s for $1098/pr. from Sound Distributors May 2022 to replace a pair of RP-600Ms as front L/R. They arrived on time, double boxed and in perfect condition.First I listened to music via Bluetooth from my iPhone to my Denon AVR-4500 using Spotify. The Denon settings for 2-channel listening is as follows (Speakers set to large, SW mode LFE+Main, Crossover 40Hz).There was an immediate, stark contrast comparing the 600s to the 8000s. The 8000s present a taller and wider soundstage. Their center image is larger and easier to achieve (due to their smaller size I found the 600s shoot a smaller beam of sound from the tweeter and therefore require more exact placement to achieve a perfect center image).Given my space I have them set 8 feet apart and 14” from the front wall with slight toe in.If you already have speakers from the RP line then you will know the Klipsch tweeter provides crisp clear detailed sound. I don’t find it fatiguing but I like speakers on the more forward side (especially for movies). The only difference I could hear was the 8000s tweeter has a wider dispersion and is less “beam like” which helped when listening to movies in a 3.1 configuration as sounds coming from the left and right were less localized.I sit 8 feet away from the speakers and had no issues hearing voices/dialogue when watching movies in a 2.1 set up.Regarding mid-range, mid-bass and low bass there is no comparison. The 8000s best the 600s in every way. But given their size and crossover tuning they should be. Mid and low base is larger than I expected, tight and controlled. Those with more space will have an easier time regulating bass output from the 8000s.Next I added my Monolith 3x200watt amplifier into the line up. While listening to music the added power was most evident in the increased fullness and added control/articulation of the mid-range, and mid-bass/low bass. In my opinion the separate amp added an increased sense of scale to both music and movies, especially during low volume listening.Given their reported sensitivity I think the 8000s sounded great with the Denon alone. I think you can get 90% of the way to their full potential without an external amplifier.I will repeat what many have stated in the reviews - If you have the money and space buy the 8000s. They present music and movies with a level of detail and energy that is addicting. And given the small improvements speakers make year to year I foresee living with these speakers for a very long time, making the initial $1100 investment a bargain in the long run.

Incredible with turntable
I'm a novice. Let's get that out of the way. I was looking for a great set of speakers to pair with my upgraded turntable (Pro-ject Debut Carbon Evo). These beasts have delivered. They arrived un-damaged in coffin-sized boxes (which my cats have converted into mansions). Relatively easy to set up. Took some fiddling with an older Kenwood receiver (powering at 50w/channel but these babies could benefit from 100w+) but man..... These. Have. Delivered. Amazing sound. These are in a roughly 16x30 basement and they shake the whole house. And not in an obnoxious way. I have cranked the volume up and the sound is clear on all levels and never obnoxious. Crystal clarity. I tested with Tron Legacy soundtrack (amazing!!!!), Dark Side of the Moon, Muse, and my son's Madeon album and it was like hearing them for the first time. They look amazing, sound amazing. Even Rachmaninoff and Beethoven. I researched, and these were the best bang (literally) for the buck. Bass vibrates my house in an unobnoxious way.

Don’t be afraid to crank them up.
Listening to Tool and Metallica you can really turn the volume up and let them go. Your ears will give outbefore the speakers do. Great for metal but also awesome for jazz. A turntable is a must. I hear parts of songs that I did not even know were there.
