So far so good! It’s only been up a couple of months but I purchased the parasol as I’d imagined a one with a stand would just blow over with even the slightest of breezes and was not disappointed.The bracket was easily mounted on the wall above our outdoor patio area. I did however purchase some other fittings to go into the brick work as we live quite high up and do get gusts of wind from time to time, but I’m sure the ones supplied would have sufficed.The mechanism makes it really easy to put up and take down in seconds and it comes with a neat storage bag too for when not in use.Obviously this product is not designed to be used in gale force winds so please bear in mind it’s best to put down whenever not in use. However, when the weather is good and there’s a breeze it’s absolutely fine.The parasol also rotates from the wall bracket so you can move it around as the sun moves.A great product that I’m very satisfied with!

Excellent product. Arrived within 2 days. Had read from the description about the fittings not being supplied but was pleasantly surprised to find them included, as well as a cover !!. My only niggle, if you can call it one was trying to determine the height to place the wall bracket. This involved myself and my wife having to open it out to determine where the wall plate should be placed. Installation took about 15 minutes.It's a shame we do not need another one as we would not hesitate in purchasing again.

Lightweight but very sturdy, it is extremely well made and I am more than happy to award 5 *s.The downside is the instructions are poor and it is not as easy to put up as others on here have suggested. The fittings supplied are fine so that's not the problem. It's just very fiddly I found but that was perhaps because of the layout of my house.Now that it's up I am delighted. Thoroughly recommended.

This is a good quality product, delivered more quickly than the "5 days" stated on the order details. It's packaged well and all items were contained, with no damage or missing parts. Instructions are clear-ish. The parasol needs no assembly (other than fixing it to the wall) but you have to assemble the parts for the cover, but it's fairly obvious what to do, even though the instructions seem complex.The black metal frame pieces are thickly powder coated, so I think there is likely to be good weather resistance over time. I doubt that it will rust or deteriorate, which is good. All fixings and bolt fastenings appear to be of stainless steel, so will not rust, fail or become stiff over time.There are 2 stainless steel fastening bolts to fasten the wall mount into brickwork or concrete walls. You'll need a hammer drill and a good 8mm masonry bit, to drill to a depth of 90-100mm into the wall.The instructions do not, however, give any indication of how high off the ground the wall bracket should be mounted. This is unfortunate. A recommendation would have been useful. You are left with trying to open the umbrella unsupported and hold it out to see what height might be best. But also you need to hold it against the wall in its collapsed state to see if it will get in the way when sitting under it when the canopy isn't deployed (eg in cloudy, cool, windy or dull weather).As you can see from my pictures, I set it at a height where the deployed canopy gives adequate shade, but also where the packed-away canopy doesn't get in the way when sitting out when not deployed. I set mine at 7'1" (216 cm) off the ground to the bottom of the wall mounted metal plate. It gives adequate shade (apart from when the sun is low on the horizon), but it also doesn't get in the way if I am sitting out under the packed-away canopy. In truth, I think this is a bit too high and could have come down a few inches - say, 6'6" might have been optimal.The other thing about setting it high is that the handle to lock it open (and un-lock it when finished with it) might be too high to operate for some. I am 6' tall and can just reach the handle and lock when the wall bracket bottom edge is set at 7'1" from the ground.There is a "clutch" that enables the canopy to be swivelled and locked into five different positions - these are full left; half left; straight ahead; half right; and full right. When full ahead it is on a "diamond" configuration, as shown in the pictures, I think.The material is good quality and the stitching seems sound. At 1p short of £120 does it represent value for money? TBH it seems a little expensive compared to the option of having the usual free-standing umbrella, but I like the idea of it being firmly fixed to the wall and easy to deploy. I think I'll be more inclined to use it because it is quick and easy to deploy, it has a good protective cover and it's not going to blow over like a free-standing umbrella. Note, however, that this wall-mounted parasol shouldn't be deployed in strong wind. So good value for money? - not really. That's why I've given it 4 stars, but also because no guidance is given regarding how far off the ground it should be fixed to the wall. Drilling holes in your house wall and getting the right height by "trial and error" isn't a good idea. Overall, fairly happy with it and if you want a wall-mounted canopy that lasts, then this is it.

Fast delivery, great product, easy to fit, easy to use and put away. Compact when not in use and comes with a cover as well. Really happy with my purchase. We fitted ours so the very top of the parasol was 6 inches above the tallest person in the household and was just about right. Would highly recommend if your have a small garden like mine. It also swings left and right as well which is great

The product is exceptional quality and customer services is second to none. We recently lost the cover following a storm and they have done everything beyond expectation to resolve and help resolve our problem. Would definitely buy again

This product looks great up and was easy to install as I got someone else to do it!!Doesn’t give quite as much shade as I thought but that’s my fault. I didn’t read the spec properly and assumed cantilever meant it would tilt and it doesn’t.Other than that - great solution as a space saver to replace standard freestanding umbrella and very neat when folded.

We have got a very small garden after having extension done and all we have has to be easily foldable and ideally wall mounted so it doesn’t take any more floor space that it needs.And this parasol is exactly what we needed!It is very light, very easy to operate and is, what we most need, out of the way.
