Chemical Guys, Signature Series Orange Degreaser Spray, Heavy Duty, 16 oz

Thank goodness for the spray because it keeps you safe even though it has a surprisingly decent smell, its greasy & messy but it cleans and removes what you need it to from your engine. I thought the price was high but looking at all brands i guess it’s just an expensive product. Works well for the money and costs. I’ll buy it again because it cleans and removes the guck you want to from the engine.

Absolutely love this cleaner. Had my John Deere riding lawnmower serviced. They did not clean the motor and under the hood like they usually do. Just sprayed the motor down with water and sprayed this cleaner on it. Let it sit for 15 minutes, sprayed down again. Used a utility brush. Hosed it off and it’s clean.

I bought this to clean both my grill and my car's exhaust. It works great on the grill, old dried on caked stuff and grease wipes off with a sponge. If it's very thick I'd recommend scraping/brushing first. Let it sit about a minute and it wipes right off. The odor is not very citrus-y, in fact its very strong overpowering chemical smell so I'd recommend outdoor use only. I ended up using it in my oven as well since it worked so great on the grill and doesn't smell as toxic as those spray oven cleaner cans of death. It worked fabulously and took off residue from previous oven cleaning attempts. As far as the exhaust goes, I wanted to spiff up the stainless steel and chrome tip. It didn't quite get the results I wanted but after several attempts and using Blue Magic polish cream I realized that age and neglect were mostly to blame from before I got the car. Still took a lot of gunk off. Would recommend, but as others have stated, it's very liquidy and runs off due to low viscosity so there's a lot of waste and a bottle doesn't last long. I'm still deciding if I'll keep using this or Car Guys Ultimate cleaner which has far better odor. See pics for before and after grill pics

Good cleaner for oil and other chemicals

Cleans great, used 2 bottles on my old truck.

Sadly, like every other cleaning product on Amazon, it fell short. I used them on my original very cool rims on my 2000 Saab 9-5 wagon. It helped a little, but my 3400 psi pressure washer did much better. Will use on a 1980 Suzuki outboard motor, hopefully it will work better

This stuff destroys oil and grease. Plus it is concentrated so you get way more than you see.

An Excellent product! A strong degreasing agent!

I’m a mechanic and apart from learning the tips and tricks to clean a car it always help to have the right product that will get the job done and with the best of results. I’ll give people this one tip for free because I saw a few people talking about alloy wheel carbon build up of the breaks when in fact 95% of the black carbon comes from the brake rotors (disks) and as it meets the aluminium alloy wheels it’s immediately attacks the aluminium with galvanic corrosion causing pitting and so on. Because it’s just mostly carbon a metal deposits a little tip is to use some diluted hydrochloric acid which immediately stops the galvanic corrosion and the carbon just washes away and yes the acid will not damage the wheel as long as you don’t leave it on there for 5 Minuets or more. (I just buy a 5 lt bottle of brick acid and it lasts ages but make sure it’s hydrochloric and not any other) This degreaser is the best I’ve used and I’ve tried all of them all and if it’s used with out dilution it will easily degrease anything including your hands so be carful because it will pull the oils out of your skin and will cause your skin to peel as that slipperiness you feel when you get it in your hands is the oils being pulled out of your skin so don’t degrease your self. There is another that can work great on very heavy grease and that’s paraffin but your only replacing a heaver oil with a lighter oil due to paraffin (kerosene to our American cousins) being lighter in viscosity it will only displace the heavy oil or grease with lighter paraffin and so defeats the objective in degreasing and cleaning and gunk is the big brand name that uses paraffin as its degreaser so reflecting on my opinion I stand by what I said in saying that this chemical guys degreaser is the best money can buy. (You don’t have to dilute it 6:1 you can dilute it to any ratio but no more than 6:1 or not at all which is my preference) ; )
