Repair your own furniture and save $$$ with these clips
I used these clips with 2" Elasbelt webbing to repair my sofa and chair that had lost their rubber cushion supports. These clips were perfect replacements and much easier than having to pry open the old clips which would be very difficult. If you have access to a vise, the job becomes very quick and easy. Insert the clip into the vise jaw, put the belt end into the clip and give it a good squeeze. Voila! Clip attached...on to the next one. The only problem I had was with packaging. Two or three clips were stuck together in each bag and nearly impossible to get apart. Two pliers and some twisting and sliding got them apart. I saved big bucks being able to do the repair job myself. Good for a Jersey Grandma!!

Upholstery Tips for which I recommend a strong vise
These bite into the upholstery webbing as they should and are fairly easy to put on, but require a lot of oomph. They really need a powerful vise to get them thin enough to fit into the indentation made for them, for my furniture anyway. I suspect the original webbing on my furniture was put on after using an industrial vise to smash these metal tips closed. When one checks for a short video on YouTube on how to use these, people are using a pliers to close them. No way! A good strong vise made to clamp as tight as it will go—that will do it. (My vise is a small one with plastic-shielded “lips,” which works if I practically hang on the bar that turns the vise, then use a hammer to lightly tap the clips into the indentation on my chairs. Big vise, metal “lips” and you’ll probably have no problem.)

Perfect repair materials
I repaired an antique chair all by myself with the use of these. Don’t forget the webbing!

Easy to use and easy to line up with edge of the wood. It's a winner!
A miracle for re webbing a chair!> I checked with some furniture places and they all wanted between $250 to $400 to re web my rocker seat.I only spent around $50 for these metal ends and the elastic webbing and it was easier than I thought to accomplish.> After measuring the webbing you like, just put the webbing ends in these metal holders and hammer them shut. Then, it's easy to hammer or screw in one side of the chair seat, stretch the webbing and hammer into the other side of the chair seat.It took me about an hour to completely re web my rocker seat.

Saved us hundreds of $$$
Was it a little bit of work??? Yes, but my three person swing was worth it! I am so glad I found this item. It took two of us to re-web it , and my husband had to work a little to get them closed onto the webbing, but it was totally worth the effort to save and use our $400 swing.

Worth the purchase
These things are great, a real time saver. I was previously wrapping the strapping around then drilling through and using screws and washers to secure. The brackets use less webbing and are much tighter then my old method. Didn’t even know these existed until I got an email from amazon.
