This product arrived in good condition but a bit of a surprise. The item as shown was oak which I wanted. Walnut was sent. I do see that they mention on the ad that there are different wood colors you can select. I did not notice that reference nor did I see a way to select a color choice when I ordered. When I returned to the account to double check I still could not figure out how to select a specific wood stain choice. My entire house is oak trim. Every detail is oak ... door frames, doors, window frames. The other belt rack I already have hanging is oak. I guess I'm stuck with the product. Not worth the cost to return. Be careful to order the exact wood you want if you can figure a way to select one! A lesson learned.

The wood is walnut (or walnut colored; it looks right; and is well constructed, for the most part) a solid piece. I was a bit concerned about the 2 screws that went into my wall. It was made so that the screw screws into the hole in the hanger and then into the wall. It worked fine. the metal hooks aren't flimsy and they'll hold belts and they'll hold hats, but the hats really need slightly longer hooks. you can also hook your purses or bags on it, but the same rule applies: the usage for that is limited because the hooks are closer; they aren't really designed for that. all in all it's a good piece. I have it parked in my closet and will probably leave it there because it's quite functional.

This is a sharp and elegant looking rack and was extremely easy to install. I ended up buying more than one!

Easy to install. Hooks a bit lighter weight then I expected. Good for belts but probably nothing heavier.
