KomperdellRidgehiker Cork Power Lock Trekking Pole, Lime (Pack of 2)

I had previous Komperdell Trekking poles which were just fine. One pole fell off the chairlift and was stolen. The subject poles were replacement and will do the job, however much fancier and much more gew gaws than the previous poles. I haven't measured, but they look/feel heavier still O.K. compared to other ski poles. Yes, Komperdells are fine for hiking, more elaborate than they used to be.

trekking poles are nice. They lock and adjust smoothly and can withstand pressure before bending. They are not antishock. The cork is dense and takes some breaking in for the molding to start. The only qualm I have is that one of the pins that keep the strap in place fell out while hiking in. I never found the pin, so i had to put it up for the rest of hike. The straps aid in support to hold weight on your arm and wrist rather than using your grip (which will result in hand fatigue). pleased with purchase, just not the loose pieces.

As expected, locks worked good, would buy again!!!Made in Austria.

Work great! For indoor walking the mall, get the rubber tips. These work great in most all terrains, even snow covered roads. Easy adjustment of length make it a best buy.

Fast delivery. The only reason I don't give it a higher score is that sometimes when walking the pole will collapse on itself. Also after attaching the round sphere to the bottom to walk on sand, apparently it came loose and I lost one. The way it attaches is not very secure. So for those reasons I only give it a 3.
