Can I used to booster the dead battery in my car

A small car battery can easily hold 60 amp hours. At .8 amps per hour (but only 80% efficient), it would take almost 100 hours to charge. That is, mathematically. However, this is not made to charge a dead battery (or even a low battery). It is made to keep a properly charged battery from becoming discharged. The most important thing--if a battery does not show a sufficient charge when you attach the charger leads, the charger will not turn on. It needs to know it is hooked to a battery, and not just shorted out, so it looks for at least a few volts. So...........no.

How long can the charger be hooked up to the battery on a motorcycle in maintenance mode?

The charger maintains the battery at approximately 13.6 to 13.7 volts DC.  It should be safe to leave this charger connected to batteries indefinitely when the ambient temp is 50F or below -- the lower the ambient temp is the more voltage a battery can handle.  I have my Motopower chargers hooked up to my boat and Sea Doo batteries, and I plug them for about 24 hours every couple weeks to keep them topped off.  The only batteries that I keep connected full time are my tractor and whole-house generator, and I use a "true float" maintainer that automatically "goes to sleep" when the battery reaches its full charge (each battery has its own full charge voltage level).

How long is the power cord and how long is the other (battery supply?) cord?  Thanks in advance.

The AC power cord is about 25inches, while the DC cable is about 5ft. 
The SAE alligator clamps cable and the SAE ring terminal cable are both at the length of 15inches.

Will this charger consume energy if left hooked up to the battery? does any led lights stay on when unplugged from 120v but still hooked to the batter

Hi no. No lights should be on when charger is not plugged in to power even while the connectors are still connected to the battery.
