By the way, it is pure graphite which means that you can draw with the edges and cube faces like a pencil, the graphite is not really soft is just a crisp and fragile, again like a pencil. In conclusion I am very pleased with this product and recommend it wholeheartedly. Review: World Class - Outstanding, exceeded all expectations in look, feel, and overall quality. Polished surface
This cube has a polished surface, which I like better than the brushed surface on the nickel cube. My kids and I and their friends have handled the carbon cube many times now, and it's held up well.
