Great extension for a diesel heater!
I ordered this 1.5 inch stainless flexible exhaust pipe to adapt to my diesel heater in the shop. It was a perfect fit through the pass-through hole I had already pre-drilled in the wall. My diesel heater has a 1 inch exhaust line, so finding the right adapter was my only real pain. This hose clamped on securely to the adapter with no leaks or issues. The flexible stainless design made routing it easy without any kinks. It has held up well to the heat and exhaust with no signs of discoloration or weakness so far. This setup helped keep my shop comfortably warm through the rest of the winter without any exhaust problems. If you are trying to adapt exhaust on a diesel heater or similar setup, this flexible pipe works really well and makes the job much simpler.

Wrong size was sent
The pipe itself was not labeled, only the box. I have replaced the same pipe on my suv several times. It takes a 2 1/4 ID pipe and was sent a 2 1/4 OD. It did not fit . The pipe itself was a good quality. Don't get me wrong product was very good. The only problem was it was the wrong size. It was probably a simple error but, cost me another 4 days without my car and I had to travel 45 minutes away to find one.

Perfect exhaust pipe for generator box
I picked this up so that I could route my exhaust out of my generator shed (noise suppression box). Since it's flexible, I was able to easily curve it to help capture more of the sound while bending it to fit where needed. The fact that it isn't rigid means that it is easy to route and it also tends to absorb the vibrations rather than resonate and amplify the the exhaust noise. The pipe is fairly thick walled and so it's sturdy enough to hold its shape and I had zero leakage. Plus, since it's stainless it can handle the high exhaust temperatures without any issues. Fit perfectly where I needed it and couldn't be happier.

4 1/2 stars actually
I would like to preface this review with this statement; โI do not order items that I do not intend to use myself or install myself for someone else.โ Having said that; I decided rather than do an โout of the boxโ type review I would put this item in to service for some time to really get a sense of what it was. This is what I found out; Let me start off by saying that you are not getting show car quality finish flex exhaust piping here, but also, you are not paying for show vehicle appearance either. You are getting a good quality, actually 4 1/2 stars quality, of a leak proof flexible universal exhaust piping. Yes it is going to have a rough edge where it was cut off to length get a Band-Aid and Get-Over_It. If you have to understand that you probably shouldn't be using this anyway. The bend radius is a bit variable simply due to the duration of the continuous spin forming of the product, nothing that isn't workable unless you need to go really really tight radius, and then you shouldn't have bought this in the first place. Mine now has been in service for over two weeks of daily driving and that has given it enough time to "set" so it is almost as permanent as if it were mandrel bent tubing. No leaks and on the job.

Excellent flexibility and good length - do be aware of the rough end edges!
I'm using this as an exhaust extension on a tractor. I hook it up, open a gopher hole and run the tractor a bit. NOT the intended purpose for this, I'm sure but it works well. The diameter and wall thickness of this is _exactly_ the same size and wall as the exhaust on my tractor, so I had to rig a connector, and I don't want to muddy the discussion of this with my unusual setup, but it's retained flexibility so far over multiple heat/cool cycles - so good so far on durability. Price for this seems to be good -- although metal prices right now seem to be all over the board. As noted in the description, ensure that you handle this with gloves on! The end are pretty clean, but no matter how carefully this type of material is cut there will still be burrs.

It'll work.
This flexible exhaust tubing is functional but shows average build quality. The tubing measures approximately 1.48 inches inner diameter and 1.61 inches outer diameter. The exterior finish appears to be mill-finished stainless steel. The cut end is sharp and was clearly done with an abrasive chop saw, leaving no deburring. Length is roughly 72 inches, give or take, depending on compression and extension. One notable issue is that the bend radius is not symmetrical. Measured inside bend radius varies from about 13.3 inches to 16.5 inches, indicating inconsistent forming. The tube is flexible, but the bending geometry is uneven. The construction method used to form the round tube is not smooth. The tubing is crimped in short segments, approximately 0.57 inches per segment, rather than being continuously formed. The result is a shape that is functionally round but made up of alternating bent and straight sections, similar to wrapping wire around a star-shaped core rather than forming a true smooth curve. Overall, while the finish and forming quality are not top tier, the tubing appears adequate for its intended purpose where flexibility is required and appearance or precision geometry is not critical.
