Do I need to modify anything on my bike?

NO modifications needed. This is a direct replacement battery designed to fit exactly like your original. If it doesn't fit without modifications, it's the wrong battery.

Q: How do I store the battery when not in use?

For longest lifespan Keep in cool, dry place (avoid extreme heat/cold) Charge every 2-3 months if storing long-term

Do I need to keep the key in while riding?

YES. You must keep the key inserted and in the ON position during the entire ride. Remove the key only after parking.

What type of discharge port does this battery have?

This battery has a 5-pin discharge port in the standard DCH-006 position. Please compare the port location with your original battery – if the position is different, it will NOT connect to your bike.

My battery measures 430×100×43mm – will it fit?

The width difference (100mm vs 102mm) is usually okay as there's slight tolerance in battery compartments. However, if your battery is wider than 102mm, it likely won't fit. For best results, match all dimensions as closely as possible.

Good choice for what I was going for.

Fit my first gen Lectric bike just fine, came with it's own key and charger. Only time will tell if it is as robust as the OEM.

Lectric XL E-bike Battery

Great product!. Perfect replacement for my old Lectric XL e-bike, and about half the price compared to Lectric Bike store.

Save a fortune by buying this battery!

This battery is a perfect fit for my older Lectric bike. The battery seems to be working flawlessly. BUT - I have only had the new battery a few days. So far so good. I went ahead and bought a new one for my other Lectric bike. Huge savings over Lectric's ripoff battery price.

Great customer service and product:)

This is a very good product and the support I received was outstanding. I ordered the wrong part for a step over Lectric e-bike and customer service worked with me to return that one and receive the correct one(step through). I really appreciate all they did and the new battery is working great!
