These seemed great until we tried to plug anything into them. The outlet holes don't line up with the actual outlets in the wall, so nothing would plug in. I have used other brands before without this problem - I bought these because the overall size of the outlet cover was a little larger, which matched out normal ones better. But I guess I need to go to the other brand. Gave 2 stars because maybe my house is just weird? If they'd worked, they would have been great. Seemed well-made except for the measurements evidently being off.

Just received these today. They were super easy to install. Follow the instructions included. Comes with extra long screws since these faceplates stick out a little more (1/4”) than regular faceplates. Just remove your old faceplate, insert the included bracket to the back and screw into your outlets.Love the self close safety feature I don’t have to worry if I covered my outlet back up like you do with the little plastic plugs. It automatically slides back to cover the outlet when a plug is removed.

I've been happy to have these on our most frequently used outlets. They are easy to slide open with the prongs of a plug, rather than busting finger nails trying to pry off those plastic plugs. I did have two outlets where I couldn't find the right amount of tension, too loose and it spins side-to-side on the wall, but tighten enough to keep in place and the little slider door doesn't snap closed on its own. It's worked out to just make sure we manually slide it closed.

Well designed. I was a little worried about how these would fit over the outlets. They lined up perfectly. The slides have a decent resistance on them and quickly snap into place when removing a plug to cover the outlet. I initially ordered one set of 4 to check them out. I already ordered another set to finish the job.

They work well for me. Sadly, the two holes on the ends didn't line up properly with my existing outlet hardware, so I was only able to use the center screw to attach the unit to the wall, so they seem a bit insecure, and will shift around a bit if I tug at the top or bottom. But I think they will do for now. The outlets are usable, baby can't stick a key in them, and no fiddly bits of plastic that can be pulled off by a determined toddler.

These are great! They work as described and looks great an added plus that they were so easy to install. I especially like that they auto-close. I may have missed that in the description and it was a nice surprise. The covers will pop back to the ‘closed’ position when anything is unplugged from them. Just FYI, if screw is too tight it will affect this function. Company also followed up with an email with instructions and direct contact if I ran into any problems. A+ in my book.

These are pointless. They make the outlet too deep so anything you plug in falls out either immediately, or after a few minutes, which I learned the hard way when I had put my daughter to sleep for the night and couldn’t get her baby monitor to work. I bought them because they were the cheaper option but don’t waste your money. I installed them in 75% of my house before realizing there was an issue. Tried with and without spacers, and it made no difference.

These are SOOOO much better than the little covers that are annoying to remove (and not to mention they are choking hazards). We have bought 2 sets we are so pleased with them.
