The One Year Book of Amish Peace: Hearing God's Voice in the Simple Things

Many good thought provoking ideas and short stories for living as Jesus would have us live-treating others with love and respect, ideas for thrifty living and other inspiring topics. It has been a joy to read the past 3 months, and I will reread it. Good daily devotional.

Find the Amish life so interesting. So this devotional combined Amish beliefs and English beliefs and connected them. Love it.

This was a gift because I already had one and just fit the need.

This devotional is one of which I looked forward to every day. I love the stories of the AMISH intertwined with GOD! I learned and loved...... Thank you, Tricia for putting so much thought into this book. I will be putting it away for one year and then getting it out again. I sincerely hope you write another. This is a wonderful devotional! I love that it also has some recipes in it. Highly recommend if you like things Amish!

Excellent devotional Book

Excellent devotional - It's a very peaceful, calming and thought provoking. I have learn a lot about the Amish people, and God!

It is so nice have a book to reading each day that brings peace and comfort in this hurried world - thank you Tricia Goyer.

I love this book. I've had it for a couple of years now but continue to read it daily finding something new and inspiring each day. I've given some copies to friends and they too are enjoying some Amish wisdom. In our fast paced world this book reminds me to focus on God and His word.

I'm enjoying the daily spiritual readings and find them thought provoking and uplifting. I tend to read it at bedtime in order to help disperse the worries of the day.

Use it everyday.

This is such a lovely book to have and to read a page everyday is special.

Un almanach avec pour chaque jour, un texte, un extrait biblique, une prière, et des conseils, pour vivre sa vie "presque Amish". J'apprécie beaucoup cette lecture fortifiante quotidienne. Dommage qu'il n'existe pas de version française.
