We used this rub for our prime rib and tomahawk steaks during Thanksgiving and Christmas. The herb mixture is the perfect seasonal variety of traditional herbs (sage, rosemary, etc.) to make those dishes with some holiday flair. I could see it going well with white meat as well as red meat; it seemed really versatile. I highly recommend!

This is an absolutely wonderful and kind of old timey tasting rub. I've used it on everything from tri tip to tofu and absolutely love it! Definitely not too sweet in my opinion. I'd say the predominant flavors are fennel and turmeric and definitely not too salty. Delicious! Bought all the other to try.

Tasted good on prime rib. I would buy again. Cheaper than penzy spices especially for shipping.

My favorite rub! Always need (at least) one of these in my kitchen at all times. Awesome on any meat- I personally love the flavor it adds to roasted or grilled chicken and ground turkey. Also tasty on veggies of all kinds. A must-have this summer!

California Rancher seasonings have always been fresh. The flavor profiles such as the Roast Rub are awesome. I use Roast Run when cooking roasts for friends or catering for hundreds. Awesome product.

It's really tasty, i just wish it did not have so much sugar in it. I dont eat sugar, so it's super sweet to me. But it does make a great crust on a ribeye!
