This is simply so cool. You have to go onto YouTube to see just what this can do as I would be here all day explaining. In simple terms though you can take photos or even film in 360°. With a simple twist of the camera you can then take photos or film on 180° but in true 3D. It's quite addictive and you will have the coolest memories of where ever you go. The support offered by the manufacturer Kandao is brilliant. You can contact them via their Facebook page and they will offer help and advice that most companies do not so you do not need to be afraid of this new technology. Just buy it and enjoy the memories that you record.

This product is too weak, the application is not working well, it is too slow and even I cannot connect my cam at all now!! I do not recommend you to waste you money on this, one last thing, the 180 3d photos will break your eyes, it is not showing properly in my oculus VR glasses!!

I bought this as my first stab at 360 photography. I really do like the camera and the 360/3D modes are very cool. There are 2 problems with the picture quality though. First is that, while 4K seems like a lot, when you spread that across a full 180 degree field of view it is nowhere near enough. Like if a person isn't standing right next to you, you can't really make out details of peoples faces. I think the resolution needs to be at least double, maybe even 4 times that. The second problem is that the low light level performance isn't great. Shots that are taken outdoors in full sunlight are pretty decent, but as soon as you get inside at night with the lights on it is just grainy and horrible, kind of like earlier digital cameras used to be. I reckon if they continue to develop this product, the newer version in say 5 years time will probably be awesome.

It's great for 3D! And the VR is very good. You need to use the app to use this device, and it connects via Wi-Fi NOT bluetooth which some users seem unaware of.

Got mine two weeks ago, Qoocam seems totally solid, good hardware design and video image quality. I was really impressed by its stabilization and stereoscopic effect. I took it for my holiday and I am happy for the purchase, but the app/software needs improvements, now it's not very easy to edit and do some post-production, Kandao promised to optimize it and happy to see new updates lately.

I've been using this camera for a few months now having received it in August as an early adopter from Kickstarter. I have to say as my first 360 camera I am very pleased with it. I used this abroad recently when I visited America and Canada and used it along side my Sony RX100III and Sony A7II. It added a whole new dynamic to my photography. I absolutely love it. You're able to get some decent photos in museums and other crowded places that no simple wide angle would normally get. The best thing is when holidaying you can go in take what you need in one button press and move on. Before I'd probably take a few shots have to wait for people to move and so on. The QooCam also has several modes that you won't find on other 360 cameras such as supporting RAW format for stills and doing 180 degree stereoscopic photos. This and the constant updates adding new features are one of the reasons I decided to support Kandao and buy the QooCam. They're already established in the professional 360 camera arena and it shows with the QooCam. The image quality is quite good but the stabilization is fantastic. It's all done in app but videos look really smooth as if you took them with a gimbal it's very well done. As mentioned the image quality in JPG is good but it's in DNG8 mode is where the camera shines as you're able to extract even more detail from your images than you would normally from other 360 cameras in this price range. I look forward to what other features they add as so far it's one of my favourite cameras to use.

This is what I sent back to the comapny by email: Hi, Just Received my Qoocam today. It doesn't work correctly so I am returning it. Connection to the phone (LG V20 , not keeping connection) I tried a second Phone: Samsung S9, New, received last week. Same problems. With the Phone App, can't see any picture or video I have taken from the camera's memory (Camera directory empty, app directory empty). I formatted the card. No improvements. I tried a different CARD (A 128GB Sandisk Ultra and Sandisk Extreme Pro 128GB). With both of them I was unable to read the memory using either of the two phones. I was able to see the image moving, I could take pictures and videos, etc... I tried to do Firmware update, none was available. I checked the user manual, etc... With the camera connected via USB to laptop Windows 10, I was unable to connect camera to PC to see pictures. I had to take card out of the camera to do this. I found the photos on the Card using a PC but all the videos and Photos are rotated 90 degrees. Totally unusable. I have another 360 Camera that is 3 years old and works perfectly, never had such issues with it.

A ver, mis dudas antes de comprar, el video o foto en realidad virtual, sera de calidad? Los 360 seran nítidos. Si, ha superado mis espectativas. Seguramente los hay mas nitidos y mas caros, pero esta camara funciona bien, bastante bien. Tambien digo que la reproduzco en una oculus, no en un sistema de esos de meter el movil, no se si influye en la sensacion, imagino que si. Lo que no me gusta, la ergonomía, no es que sea cómoda de usar, al doblar la camara para 360 genera peso solo de un lado y es complicado de usar en un steady. Y los plásticos que protegen los puertos usb y la tarjeta micro sd, son dificiles de abrir y susceptibles de no durar mucho.

Produit de bonne qualité, la finition est très bonne. La caméra est très facile à utiliser, il faut installer une app sur le smartphone pour visualiser ce qu'elle filme. Le smartphone sert de télécommande et les différents modes sont faciles à sélectionner. Mais il faut toujours activer le GPS sur le smartphone pendant utilisation, ceci consomme beaucoup d’énergie, donc avant de l'utiliser vérifiez que le portable et la camera sont bien chargés. Les différents effets de relecture proposés par l'application sont intéressants. À la première utilisation, après le déballage, il faut la charger un certain temps avant de pouvoir l'allumer (le voyant de charge est resté éteint au moins 30 minutes, j'ai cru qu'elle était en panne, mais après tout a fonctionné comme dit dans la notice). En bref c'est un produit intuitif bien construit, à recommander pour les amateurs de nouvelles technologies.

I’ve taken this with me on a few travels now, and I’ve gotta say, this was well worth the investment. It’s fun to show off, and a good way to revisit memories when I’m back home. It’s not perfect yet, but I’m satisfied with where it’s at, as long as it continues to improve. Photos have a lot of noise, so images end up a bit grainy, and I’ve not figured out a way for the photo side of the camera to capture motion without making it a blur. The latter, I expect to be a software issue; the former...probably can’t be fixed with a few lines of code, unfortunately. I would love to be wrong about that, though. If you do buy this, first of all, congrats. Second, make sure you have the right kind of SD card for it. I’d plugged in a cheapo at first, and the camera would record for ~40 seconds before giving up. The data transfer rate must be high enough on the card to work for longer.

Ich habe diese Kamera am 28.9.2018 bekommen. Ich wollte nicht gleich Bewertungen anzuschreiben aber jetzt habe ich mehr erfahrung mit diese Kamera und ich muss sagen,dass ich sehr zufriden bin. Mit Kamera können Sie echt toller Video und Bilder zu machen,Hochauflösende Videos und Bilder sind wirklich sehr klar. Die Batterie ist groß und kann etwa mehr als zwei Stunden lang verwendet werden. Kamera hat auch sehr gute Stabilizator,das habe ich selbst ausprobiert. Die Kamera verbindet das Telefon mit WLAN. Ich habe Samsung Note 8 und mit verbindung habe ich keine Probleme gehabt. Bei VR-Gerät Oculus GO meine 3D stereo Video und Bilder sind auch fantastisch und super. Wenn ich vergleiche meine Samsung Gear 360 und Kandao QooCam, jedenfalls ist QooCam viel besser als Samsung Gear 360. Die Farben sind natürlicher und die Auflösung ist besser als bei der Gear 360. Das sind meine Erfahrungen mit meinen Kameras. Die APP QooCam bei handy ist immer verbessert. Ich empfehle microSDXC U3 Speicherkarte zum Kaufen Jedenfalls empfehle ich diese Kamera QooCam. Ich bin persönlich sehr zufrieden. Darum gebe ich 5 Sterne
