The Wrestling Drill Book

This is an excellent book for those that don't have a wrestling background, like myself. I have done mostly submission grappling (No-gi BJJ and Catching Wrestling) but nothing like Freestyle wrestling. The drills in this book are basic, but do an excellent job in building solid, fundamental wrestling skills. Each technique/drill has 3 parts: set up, action, coaching points, which help a ton. The only thing that would have been nice is colored photos vs. the black and white, but it's not that big of a deal - just my preference. Very solid book and would recommend to those that aren't familiar with wrestling and the drills.

This is just what I was looking for. I needed something to help with conditioning along with drills and moves to figure out some Karate Kata. This book has it all and more.

This was my first year as a Middle School Wrestling Coach. I really liked this book. I took it with me to every practice and would refer to it if I needed another drill or fun activity to do with the kids. It starts with basic moves, which was just what I was looking for. I picked which drills I wanted to do and have plenty of material to work on next year. A very good buy.

Great book. Old school but does a phenomenal job with the foundation skill sets. It’s wrestling as I remembered it growing up!

Good resource for coaching. Photographs are clear and are good teaching aides.

Great book with lots of great drills to improve your knowledge and technique in wrestling.Every page contains multiple photos to assist with learning the drills.Being a novice I found the book explained clear enough for me to understand whilst the photos helped in a big way.
