Hosa GTR-210 Guitar Cable, Straight to Same, 10 Feet

This cable disproves the notion that you get what you pay for. It's quality outweighs its price. Let's face it, a cable is a cable is a cable. But the quality of these cables can vary greatly. I replaced a lighter cable with this one and I was surprised at the difference in the quality of the sound from my amp. I have an Ibanez ART series guitar into an Ibanez 15 watt amp set up in my home. With nothing changed but the cable, there was a significant difference in quality and volume. So much so that I checked with my guitar teacher who said he was not surprised. The quality appears good. The ends are heavy duty and the little bit of hum I had due to the proximity of everything was attenuated to the point where it was inconsequential. I bought a budget guitar and didn't like it. SO I bought a Yamaha stand alone F series acoustic electric guitar but there was not a cable that came with it when I bought it from Guitar Center. The Hosa GTR-210 Guitar cable is legit. This is the best cable i have ever had. after 5 years it still works and it has been my go-to cable to play on my guitar and amp. It feels very sturdy and the quality of sound being transferred is very high. There is no unnecessary noise or unwanted distortion. The only thing that changed from the moment i bought it is that the color white part of it started turning to light yellow due to old age. If it were to break on me, I would buy it again!

This is a fine and inexpensive cable for practice use. The cable itself is a little thinner than I expected, so I'm not sure how well it would hold up under rough professional use or an environment with lots of electrical noise. But I much prefer the standard plugs on this one over the molded ones that come on many cables. When I first got it, one end was partially unscrewed. I'd guess it came loose during shipment. What the heck, just tighten it up. This gave me the idea to try using some threadlock (Loctite or similar) on the connectors to prevent loosening. After all these years of playing I had never thought of that before. Also, when it was brand-new I got some static noise through the amp. Unplugging the cable and plugging it back in cleaned things right up. This is a fairly common occurrence with plugs and jacks, often due to a tiny bit of corrosion or gunk at the contact point. The abrasion when unplugging and plugging back in serves to wear off the corrosion (or whatever) from the surface of the plug. Overall it does what it is supposed to do and is a good value.

Came back because I had to order a new one after exactly 6 years. If these cables can last that long at such a good price, then it is definitely worth checking out

So, after fooling around on my acoustic guitar for a few years, I decided it was time to pick up an electric. My girlfriend - bless her little heart - gave me one for Christmas, but I still needed an amp. I found a good deal on a used one at a nearby pawn shop, made an offer and brought home my new toy. I was all set and ready to try a few quick jams, or so I thought, until I realized that I had forgotten to pick up a cable. Bummer. No worries - I went on Amazon, found this one, liked the previous reviews and decided to pull the trigger and buy it. A few days later, I received a package in the mail with a nice, shiny new cable. Looking it over, I was very impressed. This really looks like a nice, quality cable! Good, thick cable and the connections seem solid. I plugged it in and gave it a shot.. Nice, clean sound, with no hint of static or cutout. Very solid. I'm very happy with this cable. Would I gig with it? Maybe - but I'd carry a few extras, just in case. At this price, that's an easy thing to do.

I never really considered a cheaper cable, I was always taught to get the best I could afford. When this showed up in a cable search on amazon, I jumped on it. I figured I had nothing to lose. To my surprise, this is an excellent cable, with good build quality and a strong, thick jacket that inspires confidence. The sound through it is identical to my Monster cables, and it cost one quarter the price....hmmmm, guess I should have tried to figure this out myself instead of listening to "snobs" for so many years. I will never do that again. This is worth the money twice over, try it out for yourself and kiss overpriced cables goodbye!

I rarely use my guitar with the cable and I always used it inside my house. After only a few months of use, the cable started malfunctioning. I finally cut the outer cover to see what's going on and found that the wire had broken. I ended up buying a new one. I guess it is okay for the price. Don't expect it to last too long if you use your guitar regularly. Another notable weird thing about this cable is that it tends to rotate a lot and sometimes loosens the little nut in the input jack.

Tiene una excelente manufactura el producto en relación al precio que se adquirio, se ha usado ya un tiempo considerable y se ha mantenido en buenas condiciones, cabe mencionar que es corto el cable, tiene una textura suavecita, al momento de enchufar se sostiene y manitiene fijo, lo recomiendo ampliamente.
