Bought to use to highlight my nativity. I only needed one, comes in a pack of five. Each one has its own battery pack so all, or just a few can be used independently of each other. Color is a soft white that is close enough to the older incandescent lights. I'm not sure yet how well it does regarding battery life, I'll update if there are issues. I'm happy with my purchase.

I bought two packs of these lights just to try them out for Christmas. I had such a huge electric bill last Christmas so I figured I'd give these a shot. I'm so glad I did. They are really gems, super easy to use, have built in timers too. I didn't have to worry about shutting off the lights before I went to bed...what a relief ! They worked out so well that I bought another 2 boxes right after the Holidays and now I'm all set for next year. Each star takes 3 triple A batteries to operate and even though I had them hung up in my windows for over a month they were still lighting up full power. Pair them with Amazon batteries and watch your electric bill go down. I HIGHLY recommend these .

Had these for two years now. Lights are warm white and bright. Remote for each star in box. Batteries will last one Christmas season (20 days). There are options to dim and different blink/sparkle settings. Removing a star only because the cord leading from the battery pack to the star is pretty short. I have to lay mine on the ledge of the window but if you didn’t have one would be very awkward for window display.

I have mine in my window! I enjoy them every night. Easy remote controlled! Love how they twinkle. Adjustable twinkle. Bought another set for my front window!!! Highly recommend!

One out the five stars is defective ( not working at all). The other look nice however very hard to control how long you want them on as well as when to go on (they light aleatory)

I thought it was a string at first, but these are individual stars which makes them even better for me. They are battery powered and can be used throughout your home..

Each star has a separate battery pack. To messy and complicated to hang, will be returning.

The product listing does not specify which batteries to use, so I assumed it came with batteries. It does not, you will need 15 AA batteries to use these stars (3 per star). And there are no hooks to hang them with, so you will have to provide your own hook - I used twine to hang them, and inelegant solution but it worked. They do look nice when lit, but plan on extra work to make it happen.
