These are terrible air horns. They do not work at all. When you press the button an air hissing sounds comes out--no horn sound. Don't waste your money on these.

They were much smaller than I thought they would be.

This winter has been horrible and the deer population in my area has exploded over the years. I have tried all kinds of deterrents to protect my plantings on my property and have found no better deterrent than this air horn. Even deer fencing is not holding up as well. It does mean you have to be diligent and aware of when the deer forage on your property but with consistency you will find they will not return. I also have had no complaints from the neighbors from the sound. I usually just step out the door and honk it and the deer scatter. Some deer are a bit bolder but moving towards them while blowing the horn usually does the trick.
