I installed automatic water drippers for my wife's chickens but the pressure in the pipes meant the nipples were hard to press. The first time a chicken tried to drink, she could not press it, or if she did, she got sprayed. I had to figure out how to reduce the pressure in that part of the pipes. This pressure regulator valve did the trick. I'd give it 5 stars but the only reason I'm not is because the pressure I need for the chicken automatic water dispensers is very low. I wish this had more control at the lower end of the pressure gauge. For people needing control in the 30-60 psi, this will probably be a 5 start unit. For me, I needed to regulate between 2-10 psi in more granular increments. Other than that, it's a great product. Built well. You can feel the weight of it and it speaks of quality! Definitely recommend. If I were to need another one for the same purpose, I'd probably look for one with pressure range on the lower side.
