After buying another brand of (Amazon recommended) grommets that didn’t come close to fitting, I found these. Shipping was quick, and they look much closer to the originals than the other ones I bought. These were easy to install, taking about 15 min per bag (2015 Road Glide special), and they look good too…hope these hold up, but they seem like they are well made, so I am not worried about that. Recommended for the price.

Hello Fellow Amazon Users. As someone who bought a used Harley-Davidson Street Glide back in December, I’ve been slowly going through the bike making sure all the maintenance items are in good shape. If you own a Harley, you quickly learn about the infamous “Harley tax” because even simple replacement parts can get expensive fast. While riding around town, I noticed my right saddlebag was making a clunking noise whenever I hit bumps or rough roads. At first I thought maybe the saddlebag guard or mounting hardware had loosened up, but after inspecting everything I found the real issue—the original saddlebag cushion mounts were old, brittle, and worn out, so they weren’t supporting the bag correctly anymore. I decided to replace them with this ANONEMOTO set, and honestly I’m impressed. The fit was spot on for my Street Glide and felt just like OEM once installed. The rubber is flexible with good cushioning, which helps absorb vibration and keeps the saddlebags seated tightly without rattling or shifting around. It also gives me peace of mind knowing it’ll help protect the bags from getting scratched up or banged against the frame over time. Installation was straightforward and took me about 30 minutes total from removing the saddlebags to putting everything back together. A little warm soapy water definitely helps slide the mounts into place easier. Once installed, the clunking noise disappeared completely and the bags felt much tighter and more secure on the bike. My local Harley-Davidson dealership here in the Southwest wanted around $45 for the OEM replacement mounts, while I picked this entire set up for only $11.69 at the time of review. These support cushions for motorcycle hard side bags have been a complete game changer for us. No more grinding, squeaking, or worrying about movement while riding. They keep the side bags secure and stable, making the ride much more enjoyable since we no longer have to worry about the bags shifting or possibly detaching. They also eliminated the annoying noise during travel. I highly recommend these for anyone using hard side bags on their motorcycle.

No matter what I could not get those grommets through the holes the grommets are just too big. I greased them up I used needle those pliers and the only thing I accomplished was ripping the ones that were in there already. I think they are too hard and a bit shorter than the stock ones. From the way it looked even if I was able to get them through there the nipple would have never made it all the way through the grommet in order to latch onto the other side. The nipples need to be longer in addition to the grommets needing to be smaller to make it through the hole or at least more pliable. I would say they are not worth the money or any amount of money since they don't work for my 2022 Road Glide, although they said they fit. Quality wasn't good because they we're not designed properly and material was too hard. The installation was impossible. I would not recommend them unless you need some extra hard plastic sitting around that you can find years later and wonder what the heck it was for.

I'm working on an older bike and I noticed the saddlebags had a very slight amount of movement to them even when tightly locked down. I suspected the mounts were shot. I ordered these and this fixed the problem. Installation is as easy as removing the old items, cleaning with a little bit of dish soap in some warm water, cleaning the areas and use some clean soapy, warm water sliding the new pieces into place. These aligned properly and fit correctly, just like OEM. The components are made from a strong rubber material. I suspect these will last a long time. Once installed, the saddelbags were seated tightly and the movement stopped. The HD replacement parts were expensive compared to this kit, so I think you'll be happy and save a lot of money too.
