Modern sports has really shown that fueling your workouts and races is very important. Allows for better training and recovery - get the most out of the time you have to give. Gets so expensive to buy ready to drink/eat fuel at 2$ per serving... 3x servings per hour or more!!! Just for a workout!!! Expensive quickly! So to have this as an option to make any electrolyte drink a high or mid carb drink is great. Maltodextrin doesn't effect the flavor or sweetness of the drink due to it being a slightly complex carb, so you can add it to a drink like Propel or LMNT or even Gatorade... and make it a high carb drink, but it tastes the same as before!!! Love it ! Scoop into a bottle with half full water, shake well... then top up with water and any electrolytes or flavor. Shake some more. Add ice later otherwise mixing is trickier.

This is a very large tub of pure maltodextrin powder (4lbs total). It comes with a scoop that is approximately equal to 2 TBSP. There are over 120 servings in the tub so its a really good value. I am taking this product for weight gain/maintenance because I have difficulty keeping weight on. I had read that maltodextrin helps with weight gain so I figured I would try it out. I have just been adding this into my current meal replacement shake that I take every day and it dissolves well. It doesn't really change the flavor of my shake so that is a bonus too. I will keep going with this product and hopefully it will help me get to my goal.

This tastes fine & adds a decent addition to smoothies & other mixes. Just don't go too overboard with it, as that can have negative effects.

The product arrived with inner seal broken and powder leaking out so I can not use product...
