I have two cars and they’re both 20 years old, so predictably, parts are breaking constantly. Sometimes they are large parts and sometimes they are small parts. In the case of my car, I had just paid a huge amount of money to replace my starter motor, so I wasn’t excited about paying to replace the light over the dashboard that subsequently fell out and got lost. Hence I was excited to see these little guys, since I figured either they would fit into the space left behind by my old light or else if they didn’t fit there, they could be mounted elsewhere. The latter turned out to be the case, so I ended up mounting them right below the overhead lights. They are so small that it’s easy to find places to put them, since you mount them using the double-sided adhesive tape. I like that the 4-pack comes with two different charging cables, so I can put two lights in each car and keep a cable in each. The instructions that came with them were inadequate (the instructions on the website are more detailed and clearer) but my friend helped me figure out the order to put them together. I got the white light because I wanted them for illumination and not ambience and they are extremely bright, despite their tiny size. My sister, who was visiting me, was so impressed with them that she’s going to get some for her closet, which doesn’t have adequate lighting and is too dim to find her clothes easily. My only complaint is that these lights are actually too sensitive and turn on constantly when you’re working with them. It can be a bit difficult to turn them off and get them to stay off. But once they’re mounted, they don’t turn on by accident as easily. Of course, they’re also rechargeable, so if they’re on accidentally, it’s not the end of the world, but sooner or later the LED bulb will presumably wear out. But this is a minor complaint and overall, I’m really loving them. They’re a terrific value and definitely a 5-star product.
