Make every hit count, elevate performance and inspire confidence
Whoa, it totally changed the way my girlfriends daughter hits the ball! Her confidence is sky high now No long adjustment phase or weird balance issues. She picked it up in the cage and immediately said it felt lighter than what she was swinging before, which is always a good sign when dealing with fastpitch players who care about swing speed The fit and balance are honestly what sold me. It does not feel end loaded and it comes through the zone really smooth. Her swing looks quicker and more controlled now, especially on inside pitches where she used to get jammed up. Watching from behind the fence you can actually hear a cleaner contact sound now and see the ball jump off the bat Build quality feels top tier. The barrel feels solid without feeling stiff and there is very little sting even on off center hits. She has caught a few balls toward the hands during practice and never complained about vibration, which is saying something because teenagers will absolutely tell you when something feels off 😅 The biggest difference has been distance and consistency. Balls she used to hit to the warning track are now clearing it or rolling deep to the fence. Her confidence at the plate has noticeably improved and that alone is worth a lot. When a kid starts swinging freely instead of thinking about the bat, you know something is working Yes it is pricey but for the performance jump we have seen it feels worth the money. Seeing her smile after ripping line drives makes it feel like a good investment instead of just another piece of gear. If you are buying for a serious fastpitch player who wants more pop without losing control this one absolutely delivers

Some of the fine details were a little off.... Wish it looked more carbon fiber like
Cool as hell but I wish it looked more like carbon fiber; the plain gray is kind of boring. For the price, the handle wrap should be lined up perfectly where it attaches at the top, and this one isn't quite there. It won't improve your hitting abilit. But it's a good size sounds good when you hit it and should be pretty durable being carbon fiber Still, you’ll look like the vip all-star using it.

Probably The Hardest Hitting Bat I’ve Used
I have been playing men's slow pitch softball for a total of about 10 years. I played for about 8 years when I was in my 30s, and now that I am in my 50s, I am playing again with my son and a bunch of guys he played baseball with while growing up. Since all of these are young guys, no one really is able to spend hundreds of dollars on a new bat. As a result, we have been using low quality but affordable new bats, and used hand-me-downs we were able to buy from other teams. Because of this, we are really stuck as a team as far as our success. We are a good team, probably just one step below the elite teams in our league. At the same time, we are multiple steps up from the lowest tiered teams in our league. The biggest difference between us and the elite teams is the offensive power. We are a team mainly built on speed, but do have a few guys with power. We have noticed that the bats we are using have lost most of their potency and we cannot consistently drive the ball to the fence like other teams. The balls that we do hit hard seem to 'die' in the air and do not carry like the other teams' hits. Clearly it is because of the quality of the bats we are using. After the fall season ended in November our team decided to not only play slow pitch softball, but we also decided to try out a men’s fast pitch league as well. I decided to do some research on which bats were approved and invest in a new, top of the line bat. From my extensive research of approved bats, I learned that the Rawlings Mantra bat provides some of the best bang for the buck. The guys on the team use bats of different sizes, but I went ahead and ordered the sized 34 inches and 25 ounce Mantra. The day after It arrived, my son and I went to the local indoor batting cages to take some swings with this new bat. WOW. What a difference. We had the pitches set up at 65 miles per hour. I know there is a 'breaking in' process, so I was just swinging nice and easy at first. Between each swing I would rotate the bat a quarter-turn in my hand so the contact was not being made on the barrel all in one spot, but rather being spread evenly around the barrel. After about 40 swings, we switched and my son hit about 40 pitches. After that round, we each took about 30 more swings each. But this time, we were swinging harder, trying to drive the ball. The crack of the bat was awesome sounding and something we are not quite used to. It is something I had only heard from other teams, but now would be something that would be coming from my team instead. The ball, when hit squarely, seemed to pick up speed after traveling about 70 feet or so. It was amazing to watch. I knew there was a difference in the quality of the bats we had versus other teams, but did not realize it was this great of a difference. I am ecstatic, and cannot wait until we get to use this bat in a game!!! The factory grip is good, but, I do anticipate switching it out after a few games as I will be sharing the bat with the entire team. Not everyone likes swinging a 25 ouncer, so I am betting that only 4 or maybe 5 guys will use it. Regardless, I am very happy with the purchase, and would definitely purchase another Mantra when the time arrives. This bat was $449, and the quality is the best I have personally ever used. Time will tell, but as of right now, I feel like this is an amazing value for the money. This bat is a two-piece composite which really helps the ball come off the bat at a high speed which will lead to more hits and more runs. This is exactly what we need in order to take that step to being an elite squad. This bat also looks amazing. It is an industrial gray color with a shimmering blue-purple MANTRA wordmark on the barrel. Not all bats are one size fits all, but i am guessing this bat will be a popular choice for most of the guys. Rawlings | 2025 | Mantra Reverse Fastpitch Softball Bat| -9 / -10 / -11 Drop | 2 Pc. Durability way overstated and over priced for the speed that the bat failed
This bat literally failed within 90days. It chipped and is now rattling on the inside and has a dead spot from that chip and the grip has also come apart from simple batting practice and approximately 8 games. If I could give it a zero star I would and there is not much help regarding warrenty through this site which makes it that much more upsetting concidering the amount of money I paid for it and other Amazon orders. You can clearly tell the bat has not been abused at all. Just some reg ball marks from practicing and games. I am a coach, so yes the bat was broken in properly using a tee while turning the bat with eash swing for 200 swings before utilizing in a practice or game scenario. Thoroughly disappointed and dissatisfied...

Very good quality, Fast Pitch bat. Highly recommend trying it!
Our whole family plays baseball, it’s been our thing for years. We have never invested in a really good Fastpitch baseball bat. Decided to try this one and get one that we all could use until we figure out who needs what. This specifically sized one was the 29. And surprisingly, most of us are able to use it. I am really surprised at the feel of it, the weight distribution, and how good I’ve been able to hit with this type of bat that I have never really used before unless someone had one that I could try. That being said, I am not an expert on this, but all I can say is this really is weighted right or whatever they’ve done to hit the balls perfectly with this type of bat. I’m still learning, but I would suggest if you have a baseball Family that you really should get one of these for your collection as you really do see a difference And it is a very well-made bat, because I’m sure that this company that’s been around for years knows what they’re doing. It did not come with a protective bag, but that’s OK. We had several bags of our own to store it in. I give it an A+ and highly recommend it even though it is a little bit pricey. The coloring and lettering is very nice. The grip is very comfortable.

Bat well worth it!
Ill be honest, I was a little bit hesitant about the price tag at first weather something like this could be worth it, but my daughter certainly loves it. Thus, I am sold. Its the brand new model and I think they did something right with this years design. Bat didn't really need any break in which was nice and she felt like it was more powerful and had more pop. She also liked the grip on it too for what its worth. It looks awesome and it made her happy. All I can ask for

Good balanced swing
This is my review for the Rawlings Mantra Reverse after using it in the batting cage a few times. First impression, it looks really cool. The grey background with the metallic iridescent lettering, in purple and blue, looks really nice, and not too pink and girly. This is a 2 piece composite bat, so it has the connector piece in the middle, which gives it some flex while swinging. This is personal preference here- I like the flexy feel of the 2 piece bat, but it feels a lot different than a 1 piece. The flex gives different feedback on contact, but it reduces sting, and should contribute to sort of a trampoline effect. It does have a good amount of pop when you hit it just right, and it feels comfortable to swing. It has a balanced feel, and the -9 swings lighter than most bats of this weight. I would say it feels more of a contact bat than a power bat because of the balanced weight. So far after a couple hundred swings, it still feels good. I have had 2 different people come tell me they had the same bat but it didn't last a whole season before it broke. I am hoping that is not the case here, because I like this bat. For the premium price, this is one of the most expensive bats available in the fastpitch lineup, I would hope it would be more durable. I will update if anything changes, but so far it's a decent bat, although a bit more expensive than it should be.

Great bat, great results!
This bat feels great right away. The balance is solid, and the pop really helps bring the power through the swing. Contact feels clean, and you can tell it’s built for performance. It gave immediate confidence at the plate and feels reliable every time it’s used. If you’re looking to step up your hitting, this bat delivers.
