Because you are worth it.
Yes it's costly. But you are paying for a quality product. The scent is wonderful. So masculine. It lathers up with just a small amount. I tend to let the soap linger on my skin for a bit. Then after I rinse off, the great scent stays with me. Love this product. I don't use it every day. But it is my feel good indulgence, because I am worth it.

Smells amazing!
This body wash is a bit of a splurge given that all body wash pretty much does the same thing. That said, the Lily of the Valley and Star Anise smells amazing. It carries throughout the shower when you're using it, which is pleasant, and it lingers on the skin without being overpowering. It's a bit moisturizing but not in a greasy way. If I can remember to use self-control, a little goes a long way and the bottle lasts a while, and it barely takes any to have a good bubble bath. This is my favorite body wash of all time, and the fragrance is so good that I haven't really branched out to try any others -- I did have a sample of the Rhubarb one, which has a similar strength and longevity, so I'd assume that it's consistent across varieties.

Easy on skin
My skin is too sensitive for most regular store shower products. I'm glad I found this shower gel, because since I started using it my skin has become far less irritated and dry. The scent is pretty strong, so for me that's a pro, but I can see where it would not be for some people. I find that I use far less per shower than I did with common brand body washes I bought at the store. So while it's fairly pricy, it lasts me longer than the cheaper alternatives. I plan to repurchase this product and experiment with the other scents.

The smell is very Masculine/British/Confident.
All I can say is that I love this smell, and so does my wife! I actually purchased this because I love their cologne as well. This smells identical to it. Black Pepper is almost the perfect description of the smell. Smells like a very distinguished gentleman. Not overpowering, yet a nice confident after shower smell which is both refreshing and calming. Gentlemen looking to distinguish themselves from everyone else wearing the usual name brand colognes, look no further. Get their Re-Charge Black Pepper cologne. Although I'm writing about their shower gel, their cologne has the same fragrance. You can thank me later. On second thought, don't buy their cologne. I don't want you smelling like me. :D

The body wash of Royalty (it says so on the bottle !!!)
I managed to grab some of this on sale during prime day and it smells like an englishmans idea of spicy. By that I mean it isn't actually spicy, moreover it's like a slightly Spiced mix of other manly scents (the vetiver stands out in particular) with a hint of the pepper when you get close. The aroma wreaks sophistication. It will instantly transform you from a member of the bourgeoise to an esteemed colleague of his lordship. The scent itself isn't bad, but it's a tad old-fashioned. Not very modern, but definitely distinctive and pleasant. It leaves the impression that this is something a 50 year old gentleman would wear to a lovely dinner party with his rich friends, not something a young man would wear out on the town.In seriousness $30 for body wash is rather nuts. At least it smells really good and does so for most of the day. For best results DO NOT use a wash rag loofah or whatever, just apply it directly to the skin and allow the scent to absorb a little by lathering heavily before rinsing it off .
