desertcart.com: Live the Game (The Game Trilogy Book 2) eBook : Morris, Robin: Books Review: This Second Book does not disappoint! - What a romp these books are! Just when you thought our hero had a solution, things get terribly complicated in this second book of the Game trilogy. Who can John Benton trust? Anyone, other than his wife! The two of them set out to expose the game, only to find themselves more deeply enmeshed, doing things to survive they never thought possible. The twists and turns are never ending, as this second book takes you through John's deepening involvement in the game. Readers will find themselves eagerly awaiting the third book, which is available in all formats. What a great read! Review: Imaginative thriller with good characters. - Fun novel! Not every author is able to combine the action of a thriller with well thought out characters. Even the minor character of a two year child is well written. Robin Morris must have lived with a two year old to understand them. And the main character is well written as he is not well educated. He is earthy, but very smart. Not all authors could have pulled that off. Of course plenty of action and gun play as expected. Very imaginative plot as the the game they play is truly unique.

This is a tense and very well paced thriller that makes for a very entertaining read. It answers some questions brought up by the first book while raising several new ones. Fans of the insular world of The Continental from John Wick will definitely want to check out this series... it's just as gripping with even more twists and layers, yet told in an economical style that doesn't beat around the bush. I'm definitely going to be plowing ahead with the third book in this excellent series!
