It’s ok. Not what I thought

I’m here to provide my honest experience and unbiased -picky- opinion. I ordered this because I do nothing for my eyebrows and thought this would help me be more polished. I don’t take a lot of time in the morning to do makeup because I’d rather sleep. I also don’t know what I’m doing with brow shaping. I used this with a very light touch and it worked well for me. I didn’t get the stroke marks and really just colored the hair I have and skin underneath it. It was quick drying and wore throughout the day. I really liked the square angled tip as it seemed to catch a lot of hair, vs. one straight line pencil I’ve used in the past. For me, a non-professional, this works well and I like it. If you’re going for a more precise microblade look it most likely will not work. As I was writing this review since it was the end of the day I tried to get the microblading lines like those shown in the manufacturer’s pictures and was unable to get that fine a line(s) no matter what I tried. The felt tips just stick together. I tried it in my hair line to fill in and still couldn’t get the hair lines. It was just as though I’d put shadow there-no definition. I was able to use a dry tissue with pressure to remove the product from my hairline. I do like this liquid pencil because based on pressure used when applying you can control the darkness of the color. I ordered brown, since I have dirty blonde hair, so I don’t want my brows to be too dark. For $13 I would say it’s a good value for the money, but won’t know for sure until I see how long it lasts. It seems the going price, and this one comes with the double sided spoolie/brush. Since it worked for my needs, I would purchase it again. Hope this info was helpful!

Pretty dark for taupe, more like dark brown, but other than the color I like to product, it goes on well and stays on.

The Liquid Microblading pencil definitely takes some getting used to in order to get the correct results. This is the first time I have tried this thick brush tip, as I have only used a fork tip or single brush tip in the past. The thick brush tip has more individual bristles to create a more natural eye brow look, but it definitely takes some practice to learn how much pressure to use when applying. Too much pressure, and you don't get the individual line/brow hair look, but instead it gets a bit smudgy.

I don't know anything about microblading, all I know is I want my eyebrows to POP, in a very natural looking way. I decided to try this. I also wasn't sure of the color, I went with brown, thinking I could just go back over again, rather than the tawny brown, which might be too dark. I chose the right color! I do all this *very* slowly, I want to get it right. I take my time, when I know I'm not going anywhere, just in case! And - it works! It filled in my eyebrows, without looking like I had done anything, which is exactly what I want. It wasn't runny or gloppy, and it dried quickly. Another reason I'm glad I take my time! I used the blending brush, and it made it even more natural. I'm not sure I'm supposed to admit this, but what I love is that if I'm careful removing other eye makeup and washing my face, this lasts for a few days, without any marks on my pillow cases. And it doesn't wash off in the shower, either. I'd call this a win!

I found this works best when used in conjunction with other eyebrow products. This is great for the thicker part of brows, but you either need more skill than I have, or an additional, thinner pencil product for the "wing" on the outside. I have dark brown/chestnut hair, but seemingly black brows; "brown" worked for me, it is a brown (not a black) but black would be way too heavy unless I was going for a goth look. This product is very waterproof and smudgeproof. Once its on, you can't wipe it off or smudge it with your fingertips, and even a Clearasil wipe barely removed any (where I'd made a smudgy mess when I first applied it - the learning curve is quite steep). I get mad at eyebrow pencils because they are too hard/brittle, and I break the tip off every time I use them, so this product avoids that aggravation. It's just a bit *too* thick of an applicator. I wish there were two ends, with one blobby end, and one fineliner end. That would be perfect.
