SigmaArt Lens, Black, 105 mm

Fast focus, ultra sharp images and beautiful bokeh. It's a fantastic lens! I use it with a Canon R6 (+ adapter)

This lens is truly astonishing. The sharpness, contrast and resolution are all top notch. It is fairly big and quite heavy, but you get used to it. If you shoot portraits or abstracts, or just love shallow depth of field / blurry backgrounds, this lens is for you.

I was quite sceptical regarding the auto focus being a 3rd party lens but it really is amazing and as good as a canon for quickness.The image quality is obviously perfect and the bokah is outstanding.As everyone knows this is a heavy lens but feels quite comfortable to hold and after a while just feels normal.Great buy and would definitely recommend

I have been a keen portrait photographer for years and in the days of film I always used a fast 100mm lens to capture my best portraits. When Sigma released this lens I was immediately interested as it was the perfect focal length and at f1.4 was very fast.Having now used the lens, I am not disappointed. The ability to get a pin sharp portrait but with the background thrown out of focus is superb. The bokeh the lens produces is very attractive.Build quality is excellent as with all Sigma Art lenses. The only downside is the weight of the lens but the quality of the results more than compensates for this.I have paired the lens with my Canon 5D Mk IV and it is actually a well balanced package despite the weight.A truly amazing lens that out performs lenses that cost a lot more money.

This lens certainly lives up to its reputation. Yes it is fairly heavy, but it is manageable. The quality of the images produced are superb and well worth the cost.

Bought many lenses for my canon 90 d this as got to be the best by far. Yes it’s heavy but you soon get used to that. The picture attached was first time shoot with it, so yes worth the investment especially if you love portrait.

What an amazing lens. So sharp. I did have to do a microadjustment on the 6d. I have since bought a Canon eos rp, and the lens is definately even sharper on the mirrorless. It is heavy but not so much to bother me on a normal shoot. I absolutely love this lens.

Este Objetivo es ideal para Retrato ya que comprime los planos de una manera espectacular y su gran Bokeh, aparte de ser muy luminoso puedo hacer fotografía con escasa luz ambiental.

This lens was a hidden gem. I had had interest in this and was waiting to see if it would be offered in Canon RF mounting. Maybe one day but I really wanted to see how it would do from all reviews I had read. I purchased the EF canon mount and put it on a 5D mk4 thinking I could mount it canon mirrorless with adaptor later on. Well I have been so impressed with results in pet photography portraits on the 5D that I may just keep it that way! I know this lens will work on my R5, but shall continue on the 5D. I shoot mostly off hand and will admit this is a “beast” combo to hold all day, but results are excellent even though there is no stabilization! Having f/1.4 allows me to run faster shutter and thus eliminates some camera shake. Auto focus to very fast and responsive, focus is correct out of the box, thus no adjustment using the Dock were made.I really love this lens and wish I had purchased much earlier. Since DSLR cameras are not the primary marketing nitch at the moment Sigma may put its efforts to mirrorless mounts. Still I recommend this lens to Canon EF or RF shooters.

Le piqué et le rendu sont superlatifs sur un canon hybride. Af très véloce et précis.Une superbe affaire à ce tarif.En revanche, pour un produit neuf il présentait des traces évidentes d’utilisation sur le filtre du pare-soleil. Provenance Amazon DE. Un peu déçu.

Ich habe das Objektiv in erster Linie zum fotografieren von Fahrzeugen und für Portraits in der Natur gekauft. Ja es ist gross und schwer aber die Freistellung und Bildqualität ist einfach wunderbar.Ich benutze die Linse an einer Canon R6 / R3 mit dem EF Adapter mit austauschbaren Filtern. In dieser Kombination ist es also auch bei dieser Optik keine Problem ein Pol-, ND- oder Mist Filter zu benutzen. Der Autofokus funktioniert auch mit dem Adapter einwandfrei.Die beigefügten Bilder wurden mit dem Objektiv geschossen.
