Generic Vacuum Suction Hose Assembly Compatible with Dyson DC24 Ball Upright, Hose End is 1" Inner Diameter and Other End is 1.5" Inner Diameter

I've had my dyson for several years now and love it. I realized when I went to vacuum under the couch cushions that the extension hose was worn out and needed replacing. Found this replacement, perfect, easy to install, reasonably priced, with super fast shipping.

Right out of the package we could see the hose was different. Hose is stiff and shorter than original hose. We had to switch out the bottom fitting just to get it to connect to vacuum. Finally got it to connect and just doesn’t work right. Do not order for DYSON DC24!

I have an old dc24 that I bought at a black friday sale at Target many years ago. After reading a bunch of reviews where people complained that the new hose was too tight for the handle/tube, I decided to try this product. Fits perfectly and installation is straightforward. The hose is 'tighter' than the original, but not annoyingly so. AND, it is brand new, so probably the same as when I bought the vacuum long ago. To be sure that you are getting the proper hose, remove the dust bin on your vacuum and there is a manufacture tag on the body of the vac.

In reading the reviews I was a little concern about the fit, but the fit is perfectly fine. It is a little snug, it’s barely noticeable and it doesn’t require any extra effort when I use my DC24.

After reading so many reviews stating that the hose didn’t work I was reluctant to order but did anyway. Hose arrived, it popped right in and works just fine - a way better solution than junking a perfectly good vacuum and adding to the waste stream. It is a little tighter than the original and doesn’t seem to have the range of the original but that may relax over time.

My hose starting to break at accordion part of the hose. Not enough suction with holes. New part came in, easy to pull out and put in new. Saves me money in long run rather than new vacuum. Now my vacuum picks up everything like before, the hose is bendable however it retains its shape

This hose didn't fit our DC 24. I tried using force as well and it just would not fit.

Product fit fine, but the hose could certainly be a bit longer. It is shorter than the OEM hose.

Doesn’t suck because of loose fit

The hose is a bit stiffer than the original, but it is otherwise form, fit and function compatible. A great way to extend the life of the original vacuum cleaner.

Very very difficult to clip accessories on the hose when its in hose mode, I wish this hose was better molded, the switch is way too tight/short. The replacement was easy. The colour matches well enough. Good to keep a 14+ years old vacuum running!
